I liked to play it as a kid/teen. Since a lot of people find that riddle too hard in the game, I am sure it will be made easier at some point. I wanted to skip the current versions, but then I downloaded v0.6 to give it a go before that happens.
Funny coincidence: an easier version of this game was also used recently in Ubisoft's Star Wars Outlaws.
I was actually impressed with the implementation of it. I'm normally not a fan of minigames, but I like this one and because you have unlimited attempts it's easy. The only way it becomes hard is if you limit the number of attempts so you have to be strategic about it. I do think this one, like pretty much any other mini game should have a skip option though. Some people are not into puzzles and find things like this frustrating.
Is the first quest bugged? The one saying you have to read the book about web shit, to start making money (after finding the hidden cam)
I bought the book, read it fully, but the quest doesn't update, and the only hint is "you can buy things in the laptop"... the book is bought and read already... is there any way to continue this quest or am I fucked? I'm somewhat advanced with the other quest, too much to simply start over, tbh...

How do I do that? There's no option on the laptop for that, and I can't see any where to look for this setting up...

Currently yes, until Chapter One is completed. This is by design (Alexey wants to be able to make changes to the beginning of the game at any point until the completition of CH1).
If you only play once, wait for the final version. There's a mod that allows to use old saves, but there is no guarantee that it won't cause bugs.
Are you sure that you read the book fully, you got to read it 5 times, plus have $150 to pay for the website.

Which is crazy for this game. She's the perfect early game character to focus on initially so we can get some legit sex scenes in the early game. She's the only character in the family who's set up to not be a slow burn. Where the hell is she?

I have cash, with lil sis I'm about to start "teaching" her to make out, with big sis I've already hacked her laptop, etc... But this first mission just doesn't update, no matter what:
Every 30 minutes checked, on every room, every day, Monday to Sunday (also on Saturday, when they all leave the house), but there's no event triggered, nor any option on the laptop to install the cameras; I have the option to join big sis streams now, but the other one never showed T_____T
Is there a way to trigger the even trough console or something like that?
