Spoke with the developer who actually mentioned they have some extra delays on the translations parts :coffee:

Guys, is this game is actually a continuation of the story of the original BB or a standalone project?
I haven't played the original BB since dev abandoned it and now I want to play it again. and I have a question, maybe I just should play this rebuild now? Is all the content from the original game involved here?
Sorry if quiestion is stupid, but I don't see any info on patreon

Imagine like this is the 10th "remake" of the original, they always start from the beginning, change the story a tiny bit and abandon the game afterwards. This one doesnt have the most content but i feel like it is the most polished. In my opinion the big brother from porngodnoob has the most content and is the best. I think it also has everything from the original and some more extras

Yeah, the PornGodNoob one is a port of the original game, with additional content on top of it. However, it's only worth playing if you like NTR, as all the new content is based on the Eric friendship path instead of the Eric antagonist path. If your goal is to get rid of Eric as soon as possible, you aren't going to get anything more than if you played DarkSilver's original.

I agree that this version is probably the most polished. It's got a nice blend of new ideas and original ideas. Slow updates though.

After working on the Smirnity mod, Aleksey originally planned to make a continuation, but decided not mod the old unity game, but to do hiw own thing in Ren'Py. The basic setting is the same, but the quests are not, they sometimes are also intertwined, depend on each other to be more consistent, it focuses a lot more on relationship progress. Some characters will be missing, others will be added (the lawyer is already new and we heared that Kira's daughter is supposed to be in the game, also one of her coworkers was in the previous build)
One of BBs weaknesses is turned into a strength. All the random events in other games like the above mentioned BB Renpy Remake Story or Glamour have one, maybe two images at best. Aleksey created a lot more variation for these.
He wasn't really happy with how his original version turned out, so he remade the whole thing, changing story and progress once again, and added minigames (with everyone so happy about them).

Well, I hope he someday finishes it and puts it on GOG or at least itch.io
I would gladly pay for it, but Patreon is a no-go

Yeah especially for a game with a dev cycle this slow there's no way I would pay a subscription during development. If he ever actually completes it I might buy it on Steam though. I do think he produces good quality work, just at a glacial pace.

any info about the Doc? i just hope he will use the Doc from the OG Game. didnt like the Doc from the Glamour Game that much...
