Unless the author loves only his dog and is willing to spend 24 hours a day with it, it's just an excuse. Even caring for a bedridden person doesn't require spending 12 hours a day on their care.

They usually update the game every 6 months or so. In my opinion, it's too long.

It has way way less and at this point its a sort of experiment on how much you can milk this "franchise" while working 2 hours a week at most on it.
