Some of the art work in this thread really is amazing. Some of the scenes in here IMO are actually better than what's in the base game both in terms of image quality as well as posing and progression from image to image. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how someone would get started if they wanted to try making some renders? I have no clue what's involved. Tried poking around in the tutorial section but couldn't really find anything that looked like a guide for a total novice.

1. The program in question is Daz Studio.

It's free, and there are a zillion tutorials on the web and Youtube on how to use it. (Daz makes their money selling the content, not the program.)
2. The game-specific content, as
@crugh2112 stated, is pretty well documented in the Art Assets thread. So if you install this stuff, you'd be able to use the techniques from #1 to start creating scenes using the environment and characters from the game.
After that, it's "dive in, experiment, and imagine..." It'll be slow going at first - using Daz effectively takes time to learn - but if you put some time in, you'll get results.
