Actually, there is one problem much more important than skin noise or light. By default you have all scales at 100%, but it’s wrong, teen girl Lisa looks huge comparing to adult man Eric, while she should have the tiniest body in a family. Every time you render a scene you should set scales, than correct posing according to sizes differences. Many others do not bother with scaling and have unnatural results.
