So just read the changelog and it said this:

• At the beginning of a new game a player will have a choice whether to leave NTR or turn it off. If disabled, the dialogues leading to NTR will not be available and the scenes with NTR will not be visible.

So just to clarify if we turn it off, is the ntr avoidable as in it didn't happen or is just that we don't see it but still happens anyway?

One of my fantasy Eric scenarios would be for Max to give Alice candies on the couch before he starts her foot massage, she do the normal footjob, next hour take a shower, then when she is asleep and you see Erics head icon on her room, you sneek to the window where he was normally whacking but now he has snuck in her room and they are doing it with him dominating Alice in different positions, especially doggy and laying down from behind with her ass up in the darkened room at night. You just can't take him out, as he is still part of the story and because of his influence, Max manages to do everything in the future when Eric is gone.
If you turn off the NTR at the beginning of the game. You won't be able to see those very NTR scenes. Yes, you'll know the scenes are there, but you won't see them, not at all.
