IMO it's still popular because in terms of content there's quite a bit to it. It's not like your normal 0.02 games out there with 5 minutes of content. Eventually people will move on.
I can't see it being taken over, it would be quite the undertaking
No Eric means Ann never losing her job. Ann never losing her job means that she'll continue to live up to her own delusion of being a good, normal, mother.
Also, she'll never be in a position for Kira to manipulate her into sharing her bed with her (and thus never with Max).
She won't wind up in porn, which means nothing more than a hand job from her for Max, and Max will continue to be a "quick shot".
No doubt Ann would eventually catch on to Alice's camshows, and probably Kira "teaching" Max & Lisa, and wind up saving huge amounts of money from being alone in the house with only Lisa (probably in a chastity belt), whilst everyone else winds up kicked out with Alice probably living with Kate, and Kira and Max in jail.
There's a lot I'm missing out here, but Eric is pretty critical to Max's eventual sex life.

Because if there is no Eric surelly there was someone else who help the thing grow up. For example the autor could use the aunt in a different way. And the thing work better then eric.
The real problem here is that the autor do not had the ball/guts to use his mind, istead of use the mind of shitty netorare child.
If you created a game with choice, you need to give us real choice. Is not a problem if eric was in the game, but the autor created a god eric system to destrod everything in game.

The author has never had clear in mind what he wanted. He has created aesthetically very beautiful and horny characters, but with plot/story he hasn't done great things.

The game still has the best renders of any game I've seen out there, and I've been looking at quite a few since the last update for this game. The women still look the most appealing in this game than in any other. Part of this is my own individual tastes. I don't like the stereotypical milf looking character, with oversize breasts and ass. Ann just looks like an older woman, albeit (like all of the women) a perfect example of one.
The game also left with the unfinished business of Lisa's virginity, which was presumably to be lost in the next update. Taking Lisa's virginity was my number one goal in the game, even when her character turned out not to be so innocent.
I think the last update with Ann was also a strong one after multiple weak ones, and that got my hopes up for what might come with Lisa.
As much as I've begun to branch out into other games now, Big Brother still tends to be the one I come back to when I want to cum.
There's nothing Eric does in this game that Max couldn't and shouldn't have been able to do for himself. First and foremost there is fucking Ann. It also shouldn't be necessary either to break Ann emotionally or to go the entire route the game goes for us to have sex with her. Part of what I liked about the last update was that Ann suddenly became less stupid and messed-up emotionally right in time for the sex to happen, and became a softer version of the harsh mother she was at the beginning instead of the train wreck the last several updates had made her into.
Hey guys, I'm thinking of keeping the BB saga running and picking the game back up and I need some advice from fans on here of the game.
I know this thread is still huge but I gotta ask a quick question and I think this is the best place to put it. My idea here is to keep the much beloved characters in BB like Ann, Lisa, Alice, Kira and the rest (Olivia, Vicky, Diana, Eve, Kate) but adding new characters into the story, to try and make a BB universe but obviously not call it that as this is Dark Silvers property. I'm thinking along the lines of a fan made tip of the hat to this game where the characters are similar and in a similar situation but I wanted to totally re-write the story, the mechanics, the gameplay to make it less of a grind and change the parts that people don't like.
I'm not going to rip off DS's work completely, far from it, I'll be using the same art assets used in his game but creating a whole new game with different mechanics, different opportunities (while keeping some the same), so from a story and gaming point of view it will technically be a different game.
I'll be using the Unity Engine to carry out this task and as I don't want to risk getting sued I'm going to make this game and NOT fund it on Patreon or anywhere else, I was just going to work on it and post it on here, I work from home and have suddenly developed a lot of time on my hands so I thought I may as well put it to good use. Don't get me wrong I'm not against making money but I don't want to milk something that has finished, plus I reckon there's no harm in trying right?
I'm going to make a start on this on my own and I'm going to set up another thread on the general discussions section here if anyone wants to throw some suggestions in, I have a bucket load of ideas already planned (about 40 opportunities in my head already) and I wanted to put in a proper narrative, realistic characters and realistic reactions to different situations which I think is missing in some game projects of this type out there at the moment, plus I'm going to make full use of NPC's inner thoughts which are not told in many games (DMD is a good example of this).
I like stat building games as long as they are not too difficult with little payoff, I'm wondering on everyone's thoughts on this as in my opinion stats like "Attractiveness", "Fitness", "Charisma", are things in the real world that people find attractive and I want to base the logics of this game in reality, I've been poking around with projects for the last 8-9 months but under the new Patreon rules my WIP game I planned out is never going to get funding until an alternative comes around so I'm thinking doing a fun project as a hobby will be great and my logic here is if it turns out any good it will get my name out there for future projects I may work on.

Yes I'm being hyperbolic, but you seem to be wanting nothing more than being able to fuck everyone from the get go, making the game nothing more than a click & fap porn comic.
It's not sudden. It's the end result of everything Ann has gone through with Eric, Kira and Max.
She's not a "softer version of the harsh mother", she's just stopped clinging to her delusion of what she should be, and embraced who she is, and who her family are. One big fucked up, incestual mix-up of Max loving freaks.
I have little doubt that she'd have wound up giving her blessing to Max to take Lisa's virginity if Lisa wanted it (which Ann wasn't aware of) if the game had gotten that far, but only after everything else she's been through and done. Of all the characters we're presented, Ann is probably the closest thing to a believable character, and that's stretching suspension of disbelief to near breaking point.
Amen Brother, I agree completely with what you said here, this game could have been so much more but like you said, the vision kept on changing and its like the plot from start to finish wasn't even planned in advance it was like it was made up in a very short time, plus the game had a great premise with Eric but I agree with what you said here that Eric was in God mode and there was no way for the player to counter his every move, if the MC could counter his every move and beat him at every turn, then get rid of him the character would have been better received than he was from the beginning. That's kind of why I want to have a play around with a project using similar BB characters because I'm convinced I can write the thing better, I'm not a professional coder by any means of the word but I've had a lot of practice on renders over the last 10-12 months.
Like you said there were so many other paths this game could have gone down and missed opportunities, it could have been much, much bigger and it raked in 10's of thousands in its development time.

I'm going to share my opinion on here for just a second. I'm a huge fan of this game by the way but I'm just going to point out the inconsistencies and missed opportunities that could have made the game legendary.
If you create a rival character to the MC with a similar agenda of having a harem of beautiful women like Eric was intended to be then you also needed to program in countermeasures for the hero to beat the antagonist, the game had this potential built into the code at the start, the two stats of Eric's Influence and Max's Authority. These two stats could have been used to determine events in the game, for example if Max's Authority was higher than Eric's influence then the NPC (Ann, Lisa, Alice) would have chosen to watch a movie or hang out with the MC over Eric, likewise if Eric's influence was higher then the girls would choose him over the MC, simple game logic here could have determined more events/opportunities, for the player it's a challenge to keep Eric from boning his entire family and for the fans who liked watching the NTR thing (I don't understand myself, but not judging), giving it a win, win situation. Another stat called "Trust" could have been added between Max and Eric, so Max could give Eric false information and set him up to look like an idiot to the girls, this gives the MC another chance to sabotage his plans by giving him wrong information and setting him up for a fall.
Second point, Ann's logic. This was all over the place, yes Max was the peeping Tom of the house but let's face it, if your son hands you a photo which catches your boyfriend (who she has only known for a short time) masturbating outside the room of your daughter then any woman no matter how mentally damaged she is would literally throw him out and dump him. Ann spends all of the time Eric is in the game punishing the MC and turning a blind eye to what Eric is doing (her daughters and her sister). Her character improves over time but turning her into a porn star is not good writing is it?, there are so many other ways that this plot could have been written, some parts were good, credit where it's due here but other parts were just grasping at straws.
The hidden cameras, what a waste of time this was, the MC could have started his journey just peeking but when the cameras are installed why risk it?, just access the camera feeds from the safety of another room on the laptop. The hidden cams thing was a huge wasted and excessively grindy opportunity that could have been so much more.
The Olivia path ended up being a complete wasted opportunity too, I mean players could have taken that path and then merged the Olivia and Lisa girlfriend path together later on, as it happened this was not DS's fault as the Patrons voted for the focus to stay on Ann, Lisa and Alice but giving away that much creative control to the masses of followers he had was a bad idea in my opinion, DS was too tidy a guy when it came to this, he should have continued with his original vision of the game and not handed the creative strings over to others. Like I said DS is a decent guy and I spoke to him via message on a few occasions so my criticism is not aimed at him personally as I like the guy.
The lack of updates for Aunt Kira, this was borderline criminal that a character this hot is created and becomes a bit part player with very little interaction with the MC, she's the porn star and got the least amount of sex with the MC.
The way this game was developed also didn't capitalise on the strengths of the Unity Engine platform, like for instance interactive objects, animations, during the MC and Ann's massage scene the platform even supports the use of moving the mouse to move the players hands to make the game fully immersive, also another good gaming addition to the game in my opinion would have been orgasm meters for each character, where the player is in control of when the MC has an orgasm and could prolong a sex scene until the NPC orgasms first. The early versions of the game were stats heavy like building relationship levels with the girls but none of that seemed to matter in later additions to the game.
My point here is not to create a flame war but just to illustrate my opinions on how this game was a missed opportunity, it could have been so much more and I would have loved for it to have become that, I am a huge fan of the game and I'm a little disappointed that it's not going to be finished anytime soon, I supported this game at the higher level for almost it's whole tenure on Patreon, so I'm not venting this opinion to run anybody down, it's just me putting down my opinion.

I'm not saying that having sex with any of them should be easy. That's not to say that an incestual encounter can't come out of nowhere. It wouldn't make for much of a game though. There are many routes to having sex with a family member. One of them is via someone like Eric, but to me that seems like an unnecessary detour, and for most of us there was a lot of unwelcome scenery along the route. I for one would much rather have seen Max working hard to seduce Ann and slowly winning her over despite her knowing better, versus all of the stupid stuff with the carpal tunnel syndrome and the porn movies and so on.
See, to me Ann seemed like the leave believable. At least during the entire middle part of the game. No adult woman is going to fall for the carpal tunnel thing, let alone for as long as she did, and that's just one example. I found Alice and Lisa to be more believable as characters. The problem was that they grew less likable over time.

Hello guys, I have just reached the doctor part and I'm totally stuck in the story. Mom won't make me cum 90% or 100% times, the rest of the family will do. No, as I said, that was a problem with people downloading from Patreon and using mods from here. Are you using a Mac? I remember seeing that could be a problem. If you have a Mac, go to the search bar at the top of the page, check off 'Search This Thread Only', and search for 'wine'. If this doesn't solve your problem, then I'm out of ideas...

So now if i was a developer i am 100% sure to make a game to make happy the 75% and not the 25%
For the 25% think about them only at the end of the game. So you can remade some path to fitt eric in. And then say to all the fan i have made a ntr version, if you wanna play the game with that in, you can now download it.
For me luckily I'm not a game developer, because in that case, the ntr worshipers would not have bread to bite. For me it is a genre that should be banned for eternity.
In conclusion I will tell you... i really hope that the autor come back and revive this game, because this game have an huge potential unexpressed. Then again if the autor come... give us real choice! So ppl who like eric are happy and ppl who hate eric can remove him from the game. Eric is not the real problem of the game, the real problem was the choice system. In a game an enemy is always welcome, but you need to give us the weapon to fighet that enemy!

I'm on Windows 7. I just decided to give up on trying to make it work no big deal, the game is abandoned anyway there are plenty of other games that have my attention atm anyway. Thanks for the help anyway.
