Just out of curiosity: Are you backing DS on Patreon or are just one of the guys bitching about something pirated and free not giving you enough fap stuff?
Don't get me wrong: I personally think that DS is milking his donors (as most other devs on Patreon do, since it is inherent to this system). But as long as I do not pay him I find it hard to criticize his pace of work.
I no longer support him. It was one thing in the beginning when the patrons were low and the claims had not been made, but all has changed. Shit human being. Absolutely correct his hands are dirty and is indeed milking. 1.0 will have him at 180-200k (he didn't have 20k the first month and who knows how much he has now as he hides it (dishonest and shady as fuck)) and there is no reason to think he will stop there with the potential and shit progress he is making. I think he will pull 400-500k from this.
As far as to fap or not to fap, I don't claim that I don't get down. But a quick view of my activity on this site will show that my main activity here is to help and share learned experiences not with how to beat the game or the best game to fap, but with exploration of the game engine, decryption of content etc. Playing by the rules is for pussies. Lol I don't do this to get the content all at once as you lose valuable fap power when you remove the dialog or background story, I just like to be where I am not supposed to be. Plus, that gives you a good idea of how much content a game has.
I mentioned it before but I'm not being loud about it, but I am working on a F95 version of universal extractor (persay). Universal Extractor is an amazing (discontinued) tool that can unarchive any known archive, as well as some packed exe (UPX) and a whole bunch of installers (MSI, Install Shield, NSIS, INNO), as well as some other things like RPG ACE, RPG MV, RENPY, etc. Currently the developer that has been working on is seems busy or behind. This and the fact that it doesn't cover the RPG exe compiled form, is why I have forked it and am making progress. I'd like to think of it as a one stop shop for all de-cryption of any game you could find here (not unity tho) and would love seeing it used by all. Currently, AFAIK, most people here that do deconstruct the game packages do it tool by tool, and have a whole variety of tools. Uni Extract can read extensions, or header information in the case of .exe or similar file types and its all automatic.
That graphic chart was about pictures overall? Well you can't judge game developer by number of pictures he includes in game.. making game sometimes takes something more than rendering tons of pictures. I'ld like to believe that DarkSilver will add some renders to early stagesof game, after releasing endgame. Doubt it will happen, but I understand he Really doesn't want to see us pussies early development, as he wants to keep suspence and money going. Just some of those "cenzorships" are dumb..

I think you missed the premises of my argument.
Firstly let me acknowledge a few things. This is unity not renpy; and that could mean that a great amount of detail went into (not the engine, as that is unity) the background of the game operation. Think client side / server side. Quite a bit happens behind the scenes when you browse the internet. While that could mean quite a lot, there is a overwhelming possibility that Dark Silver did not create the game from scratch. Let me give an example. In unity, you can get the engine for free basically, so long as you don't plan to charge money or take the game past something that exists on your computer (forget the terms on free/personal). Now you have an option of whether or not you want to develop your game from scratch using the unity engine, or whether or not you want to use pre-made 'assets' to give the game a bump start. When I mention 'assets' do not think of them in the standard sense, as in like a pre-made 3d character, clothing, guns, etc. But DO THINK of them as things like, an entity that has pre-defined controls and a first person POV camera all ready to go, or a complete pack such as the airplane simulator pack. It comes with a flight model, 3d model with interior and all textures, pre-defined controls, just no level or scenery. For about 20 bucks you are 3/4 of the way to a full release of a flight simulator, you just need a level with scenery. Mind you the flight model is shit, BUT IT IS A HUGE START. Assets range so vastly that you'd have to explore the asset store and see what I mean.

then you will already know that BigBrother has esentially the same concept as them. 24 hour days, few rooms, etc. LOP is even using unity now. So either Dark Silver and LOP are making games that are strikingly similar and the both created the secondary engine from scratch, or they are using a base that was pre-made.
Ok so assuming he did grab a base asset, yes there is still coding and work to be done depending how unique the game is. How many events there are and different things to do. My problem is that quitting his job (promise for achieving X money; which he did get) should have doubled the throughput of his game. 2x more content etc. If anything, my data on the pictures only show a decrease in content.
