Max shouldn't need a wingman for a target as vulnerable as Ann. Ann appears completely submissive around men in general, or at least ones that assert themselves over her. Only Max could still somehow be over-matched by her. There should have been a route where Max takes over paying the bills and providing for the family, and Ann falls into a submissive role to him by default. Not a "yes, Master" type of thing, but mainly her deferring to him in leadership of the house, and starting to slowly respond to him more as a mate than a son. When he begins to flirt with her, she is conflicted because he's her son, but she likes the attention and finds herself drawn to him, and things unfold from there. That to me makes more sense than multiple updates of her falling for the carpal tunnel thing.
Except Max isn't an alpha like Eric, he's a perv who got a lucky break, so it makes sense to me he'd need help, just like he needed it with all of the other girls. Alice reasoned with Ann after getting caught, so it would make sense if she turns out to be the driving force as the story progresses, perhaps going to Kira at some point and coming up with a new movie to smooth the transition...

Is it just me or there has basically been too many recycling in this game? What I meant with recycling is that it's pretty much the same event but with little changes without actually injecting new "life" into the recycled events.
A few examples:
1. The many forms of Ann's handjobs. It's just handjob in the bedroom, then in the bathroom, during private punishment, in porn. They're all just the same.
2. Ann's HJ and BJ in porn. Alice joined, then Alice's HJ and BJ. Basically same deal.
3. Lisa's sex studies with Kira. Next update is Lisa's sex studies with Ann.
4. Webcam show with Alice. Then webcam show with Lisa. Same again.
It's just repeating the same thing over and over again. My biggest concern is that DS has simply ran out of imagination about what to do around 4-5 updates ago while not getting closer to the finish line.

I do not consider Lisa to be corrupt based on my playthrough -- I'm looking at it from my player perspective where I never got Lisa mixed up with Olivia (I told Lisa to forget about Alex, and just leave Alex and Olivia alone as a happy couple...). I can sense that taking the Olivia route probably has a very corrupting influence on Lisa, makes me glad I never took that route as a player.
I can see your point that Lisa is corrupted, though, since she has this unhealthy (from my point of view) interest in hooking up Max and Vicky the coffee shop girl together. Initially, I thought this might be a means for Lisa to wean Max away from her, but now from what I imagine in your post I'm responding to, you might be right.
From a gaming perspective, I wish the corruption level of Lisa is determined more by Max's influence in terms of who Max allows/persuades her to meet, and what experiences she gets exposed to as a result of Max's shenanigans. This satisfies the usual power fantasy I have as a player of single-player games, the fact that I have a great influence over everything around my video gaming world.
I agree with you on this one. I kept doing dishes for Lisa and Alice, giving money to Ann, and doing Lisa's homework in the hopes that these nurturing activities somehow increased some hidden fatherly/husbandly-manly rating (as compared to, say, a macho-man rating of doing sexy times with my family) so that Max is pulling serious weight as an adult in the house. After 60 game-days of doing this (I'm a touch typist, it didn't take so long), I saw it as a dead-end, and read my walkthrough more carefully to verify that it is a dead-end.
My point is that I agree with you that Max isn't doing things smarter. I don't agree that he needed to take lessons from Eric, but I can see your point that coercion goes a long way towards submissives -- still, being a dom doesn't necessarily mean you treat your subs like shit whatever your whims are at the moment.
Being a good dom is making your women feel that they are "good girls" -- making them comply to your ethically sound rules, being super-strict if their pain tolerance is high, being only slightly so if they don't feel pleasure in too much pain, knowing how to escalate or de-escalate depending on how "good" or "bad" your women are (switching up between pleasurable pain and unpleasurable ones as necessary). Yes the changes I mention in the spoiler are what I took from the game, and others may have viewed events differently. The thing is that we all saw SOMETHING, and that was the changes over time. So my answer to the question of wanting to see 2+ game years of character change and growth is no AND YES. Don't change dialogues every day. DO change dialogues after a big event. Don't make tiny changes during the grind. DO change behaviors after the major turning points in the game (photo shoot, each movie, start of Blog, as Blog gets more intimate, kissing lessons, BJ, etc).
The other major thing is that once things begin to change it should be relatively consistent. Ann/Mom has probably been the best example of this. Each step taken also has a period of concern and even trying to step back, then as she becomes accepting of the new 'Normal' there is another step taken. With this new step forward Ann/Mom is concerned and hesitates almost taking a step backwards before accepting how things have changed. I hope that Ann/Mom continues like this because that's HER personality, and it has changed during the game. If she suddenly takes over the movies that wouldn't fit who she has become during the game so far. If Ann/Mom suddenly bursts into Max and Lisa's room Naked, then Drags Lisa to Max's bed so she can Lick Lisa's Pussy while Riding Max's Cock it wouldn't work because it is to Different from everything that has happened before this point.

That one i saw a mile away. At some point people at Erics work will ask the police to look in to the matter. Obviosly they will come around Anns house as it was no secret they dated. I don't necessarily think that Max is incapable of Alpha moves -- as I already stated in an earlier post, I think Eric is an example of a dominant alpha gone wrong. I mean, well, most of Max's moves are boyish and pervy in-game, but there are others which I consider borderline Alpha -- washing dishes, doing tutoring, spanking his siblings, buying his family clothes. Max just hasn't figured out when to do those things so that it matters a lot -- DS didn't implement it in-game, that's why I don't harsh on Max too much.
FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
When I was a young kid, my mom and my sisters didn't want me to set foot in the kitchen. I learned early on how to clean and cook well, so I gained their trust and respect with regards to providing for them through kitchen duties. I did not do these things at random, though -- washing dishes every day doesn't matter much, but washing dishes for my sister when she had a long bad day counts for something a whole lot more.
The key is to make the other person understand what it means when I do something for them -- I'm not just washing dishes at random (like in BB), I'm doing it because I love my family, so I do stuff I don't like for other people when it matters the most. This is real life family stuff, doesn't mean I wanna bang my sisters or my mom, but I can generally make anyone in my family do whatever I want within reason. I also got to bang a lot of girls because of my domestic skills (among other things), but that's a totally different ball game altogether.
WITH REGARDS TO MAX'S SERIOUS ALPHA MOVES IN-GAME:

As of right now, it is already possible to spank Alice for smoking, so it's just a matter of making this mean something in-game beyond giving Max a chance to grope Alice.IN SUMMARY, I don't necessarily think it's difficult to change the game to make Max more of a sensitive, considerate dom -- it just takes a bit of tweaking of some dialogues arising from the good actions he does to mean something much more beyond temporarily lifting the mood scores of Ann, Lisa and Alice.
