Salutations, DarkSilver! Just played the game recently, and I just wanted to say I really liked what I played. One of the strongest features of your game is the Opportunities feature. I think the way the Opportunities feature of the game works, the number of opportunities present and its depth makes it possible for players to connect with your characters based on their progression in the Opportunities tab. I also like how progression in Relationship level is driven by progression in the Opportunities tab. This results in players filling in the gap in the overall story of BB so far, making the story of BB their own as we speculate what the progression in these opportunities mean to the characters of the story -- this is a stroke of genius that differentiates your game from the usual stat building mechanics of other games of a similar nature that designs events and sex-scene rewards based on attaining main character stats goals.
The Opportunities feature is a great narrative device that I have only seen in your porn game so far. I really appreciate this, and I hope you continue developing this in the future.
In reality, moments of self-reflection between important events in one's life triggers increasing self-awareness that transforms people's character and personality (TLDR: it's not time but experience that builds character, I can't help getting long-winded at times, so I beg for your indulgence on this.
). Lol, I agree, this isn't real life, it's a fictional porn game, and I'm with you in that respect. Just to connect this thought with what I said earlier about the Opportunities feature, though, I think the fact that there is narrative progression via the Opportunities tab implies that you are already telling a story that impacts how players view the characters in your story.
For instance, one great character in your game is Eric -- the fact that I hated him after that first conversation about his intentions on my mom and sisters made me hate him with a burning passion equivalent to a thousand suns. The fact that I have such a visceral hate towards him is great writing on your part. The fact that I chose to go to war with him right from the get-go after that conversation says something about how I want Max to be -- someone who has a fiercely protective attitude towards my family, which is who I am.
There are feedback on these choices in the "Alpha Male" vertical tab of the Opportunities menu screen, and I think that's pretty good.
I feel what would be even better is an additional vertical tab in the Opportunities menu screen titled "Max's story so far...", it could be the first tab there, that shows the history of Max's choices when these narrative events come up. Such a tab would have 2 purposes: 1.) it's an easy way for the player to see if the Opportunities tab has updated or not based on their gameplay, 2.) it creates a sense that there is a history and a trajectory to Max's character based on WHEN he made those choices -- if he goes to war with Eric early, Max is shaping up to be a manly man, the Alpha lion who will defend his pride when necessary; and if he goes to war with Eric late (which I never tried, I hate Eric too much), he's a skeevy little prick. Even if this is not explicitly told in that tab, it's a Max character story that the players can make up for themselves, and could even discuss in these forums.
TLDR: thank you for showing up in the forums, I really appreciate your game a lot. I seldom play porn games, but yours hooked me and made me waste more time than I wanted -- that means you did a great job! I'm afraid I have to start weaning myself away from it, the two days I spent playing it means I'm starting to get addicted, lol.
