One thing I noticed in DS' characters is that they have anything BUT consistent personalities.
For example:
Lisa plays the innocent little sister, so far so good, then she starts getting dirtier and dirtier with her brother untill they reach full fledged anal sex anywhere, then she goes back to "I want a boyfriend, someone who I can trust to give my first time" and starts going to dates with max just to shortly after that go back to "Meh, I don't mind you fucking other girls, as long as I can watch, maybe, just maaaaaybe I'll join".
Ann starts as the strict mother, that uses physical punishments (aka spanking) too "keep her children in line", but then she turns out to be a submissive woman who's not right in the head, then she turns bissexual with her own sister and then becomes porn actress, all that while still hypocritically using her strict mother persona.
Alice starts as the stereotypical elder sister, authoritative, loathes his younger brother but then turns out to be a submissive bisexual who would even let her brother fuck her if it pleases her dom, then she suddenly turns into a dom herself.
Yep, fickle as fickle can be.

(BTW, I said the shit half as a joke, but it was clear that when that was going on it was intended to be a hell of a lot more than just (conversations), Max refused to peep, and there is a specific counter in game for the number of times that Lisa has had sex ed with Eric. Things have changed since then, a lot, so a retcon makes sense.)
Their personalities are based on whatever scene he has decided to create this month instead of where most game have the personality drive what the next scene is and should be.
He decided to do an update with spanking scenes....AGAIN (after there being spankings throughout the game before that point) Never once during those previous spankings was it ever let on that Lisa liked getting spanked...
But because he wanted to add more BDSM to an Incest game, all of a sudden she has a personality flip and likes it.
Similar things with Alice...She has been a sub almost from the get go....
But at the flip of a switch she becomes the DOM? Truth is it would have made much more sense and be much more consistent to have Lisa catch them as she does, take a movie of it and blackmail Alice and Max and make them perform for her as better than the porn she sees on the Internet than the way he went about it...Make her be the Younger Porn Director like her Mentor Aunt Kira...
There really is no thought put into this story at all...
It's just scenes with whatever dialogue he thinks makes sense for that month's content and really never takes into account what he has done in the previous months or past story.

I was talking about that with a friend the other day, and I reached the conclusion that, at this point, it's just fanservice, there's really no story going on. The scenes are still hot and DS does a great job at rendering. It's just the story that sucks.

I dunno how I skipped this comment, but I lol'd.
My read on DS's conception on what makes ladies do crazy things like incest is Max's "big gun" resting between his legs -- that's why he's the "Big Brother" after all (according to the title of the game).
On a more serious note, you're right, and this sort of thing is permissible for Lisa, Max and Alice because they're kids -- they haven't figured themselves out.
The challenging part is to figure out Ann's neurosis -- I mean, at one point, she calls Max her rock -- I mean, lol, wut?! Lisa is more spot on in saying Max is a pervy moron because the activities I as a player directing Max are pervy, boyish and moronic -- peep lots, put cameras all over the house, lay spiders in Alice's bedroom, etc.
One way I would straighten out the story to make it more thematic:
Max starts out as a peeper, then grows into being a private voyeur spying on his sisters through the cameras he installs all over the house, and then graduates to being forced to share those cameras on the Internet to generate money due to being at war with Eric so that he can become the provider of the house -- a big brother in more ways than the only "big brother" feature he has right now: that monster that rests between his legs.
I can grow the story from there by trying to involve Alice on my money-making site by generating revenue on her room through that blog opportunity -- just make that opportunity earlier so that it's focused on generating money to make Max the Alpha male around instead of Eric. Then reward the player with pervy scenes with Mom when Max transcends Eric's influence/domination with Mom because Mom's focus is providing for the family, one of the reasons why she hooked up with Eric in the first place (the other being that she's broken because of the trauma she went through while growing up).
TLDR: the framework for getting this done is already in the game -- the opportunity list are the plots DS incorporated into the game, and tbh, that list is long in my opinion as a writer. One reason I like the game very much is because those plots are detailed and interesting, and I think it's going to take quite some time to tie them all up into a coherent whole, story-wise (as in, getting the story details of the plots correct, coherent and believable, is what I meant).

Problem is he never had a story...He had an idea for a location, Models to populate it, Added Cameras to generate money and an idea that making an Incest game could be profitable as they sell well....
But he had no idea how to tell an Incest story. Never had a Start or Finish. He would render some pictures and try to make some dialogue or situation that seemed to fit or justify showing it. Peeping in the shower, Barging in on girls changing. That was good for two versions...
Then he needed another excuse to show more nude pics but had no clue how to get the incest to happen since none of the characters fit his idea of how Incest happens. (Nothing to blackmail them with, none of them were mentally ill or ugly, desperate and unattractive enough to consider having sex with a family member.) So Eric was Born!
Now Eric could get them all naked for the MC and MC could make a deal with him and get to peep.
Riot ensues and now he has to come up with something other than Eric to get to the sexy stuff...
Kira Arrives! She is a depraved Porn star so she fits in with DS' idea of what kind of person would entertain having incest sex with Max...She finally introduces the fact that Mom IS mentally Ill due to some childhood incident that makes her easily controlled and manipulated by men! So now all Max has to do is be more like Eric!
Riot continues and eventually Eric is sent packing. So Max has to become Eric, Take over Lisa's Training...Even becomes head of the household and takes over spankings...
Bottom line is this is a BDSM game and the incest is only incidental....He has no clear path for the future which is why he has these polls every month for what scene he should think about creating and then filling in the blanks between the scenes in hopes of justifying the renders he made.
The renders come first and the story is just cobbled together to justify what he rendered. And when the tone of the render changes so too do the personalities of those in the rendered scene.
In conclusion it just seems like he thought making an Incest game would be great and the money would be good but because he really doesn't get or LIKE the Incest Genre he got bored and lost all interest in the story so is just milking it with new scenes until the money stops rolling in.
Hmmm, kk, good to know. As I said, I really got the game yesterday, so I really don't know what went through the development process. What this tells me is that DS really needs a writer-collaborator who can iron out the inconsistencies of the various plots in his game.
From what I've seen so far, it's a nice game, its problems which you guys correctly observed can be resolved, and I hope he resolves it in his future releases.

I actually think DS had a story planed for this game. But it was entirely different from what it is now.
The way I feel, this game's begining makes it clear that originally DS intended the story to be centered around Eric corrupting all the girl in the house while Max played the role of a voyeur. He would make use of his fetish by strategically placing cameras around the house and setting up a website to stream them. Eventually he would reach an agreement with Eric and they would both benefit from it by getting money from the site. The money would increase exponentially the more Eric corrupted the girls up to the point where they would be okay to have Max watch them and even participate (you can see this starting with Ann). So, after some time they would be set for life, while bot Eric and Max would fuck all of the girls and getting good money from it.
While I don't like the premisse of this (I don't really like someone other than me banging the girls), I can see this story happening, and being extremely good. Saddly, DS sucumbed to patron's pressure and started scrapping his story only to keep patrons from withdrawing their pledges.
My guess is DS is proficient at the technical aspects of Game Design but really has no storytelling skills.
If he does have any storytelling skills then it's a problem of his lack of understanding or liking the Incest Genre as he is more into BDSm which he seems to have zero problems with when coming up with new ideas.
Incest really doesn't interest him past the money it generates and he really doesn't understand what an Incest story would look like due to biases against incest in general.
If he really wanted to fix this game he would make BDSM the main target audience, Change the dialogue to make Max even MORE scumbaggy, Make an Intro that has Max coming BACK from military school to find Eric living with his Family and make the dialogue fit a game about a kid who comes in and sexually destroys an entire household.
Cause that is pretty much the story he has told so far...
The problem with ironing out the inconsistencies is that people can't agree what the story should actually be. A lot of people want some romance, with Max less of an asshole. Others want Eric back. Some want a BDSM game, or a voyeuristic game, or a corruption one. We've had elements or hints of all of those. DS should have just picked one and stuck with it. What keeps a lot of people playing is the hope that DS will bring the game back on the "right" course. Except everyone has a different idea of what that is, and often finds the inclusion of the other elements frustrating. It would be one thing if the game had different paths to include these different options. But all the branches are being taken out of the game. It's effectively a visual novel now.

I still say the best story change would be to make Eric the MC, some dude coming in to take advantage of a horny mom who hasn't gotten some in a while and seduce her daughters. His only problem is a skeevy little brother who is a creeper loser, trying to peep all the time, and sabotage any advancements with the girls.

Want Proof? Why was there an Online Course for Massage if Max was never meant to touch the women? Why was the LisaGF path there from the get go? Alice's Blog was there from the start as well!
Eric was a punt to get to nudity because DS rejected or could not come up with a method for getting to the incest that was acceptable to what he thinks makes Incest happen. None of the women were mentally Ill, Deprabed or Desperate and he needed to put some nude/sexual content into the game to build up a Patreon base.
That is what Eric was about. But he was so reviled that he quickly realized that wasn't going to cut it so Kira was introduced. She was Depraved which is why she was easily the first case of Incest in the game. That fit completely with his concepts of Incest.
He milked that LisaGF path for all it was worth and then just as it was about to become a real GFE, he couldn't bring himself to do it and added that "See other people" into the first date.
He simply can not move himself to make any incest that isn't forced or due to some personality flaw. I think the idea of Incest repulses him and is a turn off...He is more a BDSM guy.
Which is why the story has become lame and more BDSM than Incest because he LIKES BDSM doesn't understand incest so he is just adding sex scenes to keep the money flowing and coming up with the only thing that turns him on (BDSM) to get to it.
