Wow this thread has become walls of endless text. As a former patreon of DS before i got blacklisted by him, i can tell you that all top supporters of his have complained. This has resulted in many being blacklisted. DS only cares about the money not the game or the players. Hence his constant rant about people stealing his game, people complaining and his constant statement that game will never be free. I feel this game will only get worse. Rather than the game being a passion for ds like so many other patreons it is instead a cash cow. He has already threatened numerous times to stop making the game. And honestly i see him abandoning this game and starting a new one under a differant name. Its a shame the game has gone this way. But some of peoples comments on here are not acceptable. People are entitled to there opinions and shouldnt be judged or abused because of it. Friendly disscusion and debate is fine. But please refrain from attacking each other because of an opinion. I ask you all to please respect each others opinions of the game and each other. Thanks jmolle

does anyone know how to make the game start in english by default? my machine is rather low-end, so while it can handle the game itself, it doesn't seem to be able to handle the loading screen properly, so i've been unable to change the language to english

(unless I'm making a mistake and the language options aren't actually in the loading screen? if so, how would i go about changing it?)

Which is exactly what happens with Eric.
He meets a single mom with trust issues? Bang! Three days later she's already his bitch.

The problem is that they never seem to go your way.
As of now, all you can basically do is try to fend him off the girls and, even if you manage to do so, he still finds a nonsensical way to get the upper hand.
I have nothing against Eric, but the game is so unbalanced in his favour it takes all the fun away.

I totally agree with you. Creating a game is not easy, you have to find the way between the grind-challange-reward triangle. The problem with this game that its already really grindy, quite confusing sometimes and the broken english just makes it much worse.
Also the girls reaction doesn't really seem natural to me. Ok, Mom I can understand. She's fall to Eric, she was alone for a long time, shes a sub bitch by nature.... But the sisters should act TOTALLY different... Also everybody just supporting Eric with no question seems off to me.

Also its really easy to miss key points in defeating Eric which might be realistic, but gameplay wise its a bad decision. The biggest problem with this game currently: It forgets that it's a incest fantasy game, not a real life tragic novella or something.
If you sit down to bone your family and have fun doing so, it shouldnt kick you in the nuts on every occasion possible. For me this game feels like the looney toons "Road Runner Show" where you have to be the wolf...

That might be true, but "too much of the good is actually bad"

And yeah maybe, later on you can get rid of Eric, but patreon games tend to take a lot of time to get finished. Also keep in mind if Eric is too strong of an opponent defeating him will require a forced, deus ex machina way which is less satisfying than work your way through it properly... Like in the Bleach manga ending with Ychwa.

And I also dont see the already finished parts being reworked, getting multiply way to get rid of him... Basically you make everything perfect from the start or loose. Badly or even worse. You can say its how life works, I say its a game and its a bad design.

I dont say Eric should be deleted from the game, just being forced to be the cuck in most of the game just doesn't cut it for me. It's a shame because the art and the general concept is good, its too forced in a direction I (and a lot of people) dont like.

Also, there's an issue if people complete the "wallet" opportunity before they complete the "blogger" opportunity. I know about those, but I can't fix those with automatic updates from the server, I'd have to make a new client version. And since I'm already working on 0.5, all those issues with be fixed in the next version of the game. Also I'll change the balance a bit by improving cameras' profits.

Now, about 0.5. It will be centered around Lisa. You'll finally get what you've been waiting for. Also, there will be some progress in the Olivia route. You'll see Alex, but only periodically in Olivia's route. Don't worry, the game won't have another Eric. By the way, you'll finally be able to get rid of Eric if you want to, or just really get a hook into him. A lot of it depends on your choices in 0.4. Savefiles from 0.4 will work, btw. There will be some progress in Eric's friendship route. I'll also add some small events you'll like (hint: sex with some characters). And some new events will be repeatable. A lot of people asked about it. If I'll have the time I'll add the achievements system and write a post about it.

Either way, it seems that to appease people DS will add some "sex" for Max, but then again it will be a small addition to the rest of the content being developed, Lisa's path being the main focus, and Olivia's path with the inclusion of Alex (who supposedly won't be another Eric), but then again DS (he/she) still claims the game can't be labeled NTR or simply doesn't want to include in the tags, so as to not turn off new patreons? We I'll leave at that. But at least some good things came out of that post.
