BB was the first to use those models. Everyone else copied them. The reason BB is so highly rated is because at the start it was paced very well and gave everyone what they wanted. They were presented with an enemy in Eric and that gave much more depth to the story than the other games had at the time. BB has thus retained it's initial audience and gained a substantial amount. The reason it does so well is because it was the first game of the genre to use those models and have those high quality renders. This is also why many will claim it is the 'best'. It proved the success of the incest format of games and is consequently the cause of so many developers picking up the genre.
The twist looks horrible regardless of your graphics card. I'm on NVIDIA 1050 with 16GB of ram and it looks like someone drew the renders with their foot.

Yes it is old but it has the best info to get started with and shows how Max can earn money in the beginning of the game.
After this if you play the game and read what they tell you, you can finish the game with very little to no help.

No and there will never be an update for him, he is gone and will remain gone.
Eric was put in the game only as a stumbling block and once you get rid of him then you get to get all the women for yourself which is what the game is.

No it was always planed that way it is just DS pandered to his paterons about it is all, it was plan this way.You mean what the game is now
DS did stop all future plans for him because of all the crap he got about NTR so just like all the other NPC's that are not family he got dropped.
