Some comments are getting ridiculous here...
I know everyone has the right to express his/her opinion and seeing the number of pages of this thread it seems to happen very often and very easy.
No wonder, because this game had, or maybe still has, a huge potential, but there is always something in every update, which smashes our expectations. Huge expectations, generated by the hype before every update.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to defend this game. I'm one of those who played the game since 0.1 (russion version) and thought, "this game HAS to be the best of the best". But we knew it happend otherwise.
Now i'm reading that the renders are shit....
Like...wtf...there are many things wrong with this game...But the renders???
The models don't look like PS2 Models, don't have strange noses...don't have hips wide as the horizon and what not...The light/shadow situation isn't bad either. The only thing i can critize are the night scenes, which seems too bright.
The only 10/10 of this game, are the renders...

Well I'm realy afraid we already saw almost everything in next update.Seems we almost like at 0.6 where he show us in the previews the 2 of the best pictures in Olivia path after Lisa and Olivia kick out Alex.

I personally really like the renders. Some aren't as good as others, but they can't all be perfect. I'd like to see more renders though in the sex scenes, and less renders of Max's cock. I've played a few other games and checked screenshots of others, and this still looks like the best to me visually. Part of it is that none of the women have huge breasts, which is just a turn off for me. Other games might have butterfaces as characters. I noped out of one game website after one screenshot of the mother with comically enormous breasts and a trailer-trash face that looked like one of those "after meth" photos.
So yeah, I love the renders in BB. The story and writing are crap though. I am pretty certain that there are games out there with better writing, but I haven't seen too many with preview pictures that makes me want to invest time in it. I have played DmD and Parental Relations, which have better stories, although not as good graphics, and both have their own issues as well. BB was always my hope for a really cool incest story and visuals.

If going to pick on something, the models seems just to flawless which in turn kinda give a plastic feel of the models. If you compare with like the mom in dual family. It adds towards a more authentic feeling, idk...
Sometimes it is like, you get good renders and shit story, and other times a good story and like straw cartoons to go with. :/

In my opinion, another NTR/NPC would be cool. Say another Eric, but not a dick. Someone that actually likes Ann and is a nice guy. The reason I say this is because we have no one to hide our relationship with Ann from. Lisa, Alice and Kira all know. Hell, even the doctor knows. Maybe not even NTR per say where our relationship with Ann isn't affected by him. To me the good thing about incest games are the knowing it's wrong and hiding it, but if everyone knows then what's the big deal?
Sorry for the essay, I felt this dealt with also your criticisms in the most efficient and concise manner and also matched criticisms of many other's:
[/SPOILER] I feel like a lot of people's bias is entirely based off their own disliking towards BDSM. Although I agree the game lacks story I feel that was entirely due to Eric's implementation and removal. He was a brilliant villain but he seemed borderline unstoppable, it felt as if his pacing was extremely rushed and he went from 0 to 100 extremely quick (Spanking the sisters, private time with Alice, Lisa sex ED and sex with Kira). While I avoided all of those bar private time with Alice in my first play through you could understand why DS freaked the way he did and removed him, thus damaging his own core plan for the story. I believe Eric was meant to last well up to .8 or .9 where Max finally gets rid of him and wins over the girls, if you were around in the early release days when Eric was given so much power you'd understand. Eric was passionately hated by everyone, hundreds of patreons were threatening to drop him at a time where he hadn't even hit 1000. Consequently he freaked and removed him.
This then brought in the whole BDSM route. From the start of the game it's been apparent Anne has been into BDSM, entirely due to her being kidnapped as a child and thus resulting in her requiring a strong alpha male (or female, hence why Kira seems to have so much sway over her) to dominate her. From the Eric friend route it becomes abundantly clear that DS planned on exploring an extremely BDSM based route with Anne. Even Kira showed interest in the dom fetish based on how she dressed during the photoshoot. Alice was clearly involved in a submissive / dom based relationship with Kate, another 2 characters showing interest in the particular fetish. Consequently that puts: Kira, Anne, Alice, Kate and Max (who would fuck anything that walks) in approval of the BDSM fetish. That leaves one of the main characters yet to display interest or show a liking to it WELL before Lisa was turned into a BDSM focused character. Therefore, I think the BDSM route was entirely predictable, we all knew it was coming but were entirely in denial. I couldn't really care less about the fetish, although I don't understand flogging etc. I don't see too much of an issue with handcuffs and spanking, one of which presented itself early on in the story (and I may be wrong here but wasn't Kira handcuffed during the photoshoot she had sex with Max in? making both them present at the start.
The main cause for a divide in the fan base and the extreme criticism is how DS handled Lisa. That being his biggest flaw in relation to his writing. He wrote an innocent girl interested in sex and exploring it who's prime focus was to search for a romantic interest and turned her into a lesbian sex addicted thot. I disagree with how he handled the Lisa storyline but there's nothing we can change about how he handled her, it is what it is. What's more surprising to me is how it took so long for him to implement more BDSM into the story, it seemed he planned on focusing on it a lot more than he did and once met with criticism he toned it down. The blackmail route some claim to be 'rape' is also extremely criticised and although it is clearly a plot device being employed to rapidly speed up the pace of Lisa's sexual awakening it falls short of what people wanted with Lisa; and what was essentially promised.
To the whole 'it isn't about incest anymore' I totally disagree. It's been clear DarkSilver always intended on focusing on the family and then branching out. This is also the case with the Twist and MOTH. Due to his desire to appease the majority DS decided to cut the content on the new characters and leave them all as 'future projects'. Hence, he focused on the family. Not only was there progress with Anne in the last update, there is also progress with her and Alice in the next one. If i'm not wrong Lisa's story was expanded the update before last and so was Alice's. It is and always will be focused on that. Regardless of what people's opinions are it's been stated during the game several times that Alice is romantically interested in Max. Lisa's decisions are entirely hormone based and so we can't really trust whether she truly ever will or had loved Max. Kira's intentions are shady, I'm 100% convinced he's going to throw a curve ball at us with her character. She is definitely going to betray Max. Anne is warming up to Max, but again I feel her need to have a dominating male partner supersedes her 'love of anyone'; romantically at least.
You've also brought up the Twist and MOTH on several occasions. I totally agree with the sentiment MOTH is set up to be a better game. Not only has it introduced the main family it's also left room for an Aunt and potential cousins which haven't even been used 6 months into the game production, the Dev has paced the game incredibly well. I disagree with the sentiment that it IS a better game. Yes, given a few months I would say it'd beat this game. It falls short in content DRASTICALLY and thus no one can judge whether it IS better; comparing them is utterly pointless as they are nearly 6 months apart in development. Big Brother up until it's 9th update had HUGE audience approval on these forums and so MOTH can easily be ruled out as competition, atleast until it passes it's 9th official version. The TWIST isn't an incest game since you aren't actually related to either of the family members. Although it employs animations I feel the general character models are bland and unattractive. Excluding that criticism it fails to fall into competition with BB as it is not an incest title (although it is disguised as one). There are a lot of games that beat out big brother on this forum. Dream's of Desire, similar stage in development and is a vastly superior game in relation to renders, mechanics and content. Although heavily relying on the MC'S power it has an extremely good story in comparison to BB and I believe offers more choices in relation to which content you want to see. I feel as if this game is the primary competition despite the fact the Dev is stuck in a trap of 1 update story next update sex.
