Sorry, Darkest Dungeon got a new DLC and I kinda forgot about a lot of things. And apparently I also forgot the fact that I already uploaded the old version before, and thus spent 4 hours to get a link I already had, which should be floating somewhere in this thread.

In any case, here it is for convenience's sake :

Ladies and gentlemen,

A great idea came to my mind to give a significant boost to the development of this game.

We all know the world of animators and developers in sfm (filmaker source) and blender, etc.

Well, I could have a significant contribution in terms of quality.

His/Her name is LoveWolf, his/her polygonal models I find them original, beautiful and perfectly integrated in the world of a Resident Evil.

Here all his/her works:

Some of you who are in contact with their authors may put them in contact with each other. (and let them read what I wrote here on F95)

The first, will focus on the development of the game world, the second on polygonal models, a team game.

And if union is strength, I'm sure it will develop into a great game.

PS:
The result would be simple and crystal clear;

Each of them will focus on their respective roles, moreover, they could view their work comfortably and reciprocally, giving each other advice to improve the game.

The rest of the team (any other developers) would focus on the other technical aspects of the game.
LoveWolf is amazing, and I'm absolutely not saying this as a patreon of them, but I doubt this will ever happen, even if we are to help them meet each other.

As much as this "union" would be beneficial to the project, LoveWolf would have to be hired, and not just "work" on it without compensation. so the likelihood of this arrangement would be very slim.

Passion is priceless.

Only idiots (selfish) can think that even the air is paid.

What a shitty world, a world without dreams.

Isn't this crisis enough to make you understand how you enslaved yourself (a Robot) in vain?

If the union is feasible and the game deserves, the money will come, be sure.
I see absolutely 0 problems with this guy's superb financial planning!

Read the story of a StudioFOW, a team of people who initially created without fucking money, just for passion.

Then came luck, a fortune of nearly $ 2 million.
I think the difference here is that StudioFOW reliably created and distributed content. I see a lot of people mooning over high graphics games and VNs with really good models/animations - but are confused when development goes into chaos after a month.

StudioFOW hired the right people and produced good content, on time, and in budget for a couple years. Most people just aren't doing that because most porn games are produced as hobbies/passion projects and not business ventures.

When you destroy the world for your fucking arrogance, financial problems are the least of your nightmares.

For a studio currently developing a game, financial problems are the worst of nightmares. :LUL:

"Hey LoveWolf, we're currently creating a game but would you mind doing it for free for now? Our union is feasible and the game is deserving, so the money will definitely come! Don't worry, this one guy on F95zone said so!"

Auazz,

You might want to dose your overwhelming sense of optimism with some reality sometime. You example of LoveWolf being a prime example of total incompatibleness. He/She works in TK17 which handles the model and rigging creation, the physics of the models, and the animation process. They use it to create scenes which tells the story they want and creates the environment to an extent. They would be hopelessly lost in the Unreal engine environment and would offer no value to VersusX, and most certainly wouldn't spend the time learning it for free making their own projects and income stream suffer.

But as you so passionate about such things, I look forward to you finding someone who knows how to animate and knows the unreal environment and will work for free for VersusX, not just expect everyone to recommend people on your behalf.

Anyway, I end my conversation here, I notice hatred in some of you. (and I don't know why, Maybe because they don't want things to change, their business.)
I think the somewhat harsh answers you got were more tied to the way you express yourself than to your point. You tend to speak in a "this is the Truth" way that could get on the nerves of some people. And when someone try to tone down a bit your optimism, you answer with things like "Only idiots (selfish) can think that even the air is paid. What a shitty world, a world without dreams. Isn't this crisis enough to make you understand how you enslaved yourself (a Robot) in vain? ", which will of course not be pleasant to read for anyone.

Now I would love if they indeed happened to find a good animator to speed up the development, but I think it's something they would have to initiate themselves.

Imprimis,

Do as you think, you also have more experience than me.

In my country there are also assets, which each graphic engine can manage, or be the port of entire polygonal models and scenarios.

We are certainly not talking about graphic engines from 15 years ago, which had to be created together with the polygonal models to manage.

The Unreal is the best graphics engine of the moment and you can manage many things, if you have been able to use it sparingly.

Anyway, I end my conversation here, I notice hatred in some of you. (and I don't know why, Maybe because they don't want things to change, their business.)

I simply expressed my idea.

Like I said, think and do as you wish.
Maybe you'd be getting some more positive answers if you didn't conduct yourself in a very condescending, "my word is truth" kind of way.

Furthermore you basically called whoever didn't agree with you (me, in that regard) an idiot and arrogant.

Its getting better and better :ROFLMAO:
I like it that some are so invested in this thinks. I like NSFW stuff, but I don´t build my world around it, I´m happy to see new stuff when it´s out, leave a comment about it or ask about new Infos when there wasn´t much news, but mostly I just roll with it and see how it goes.
So nice to see how some have interest in it like the big Games from EA, Ubisoft and so on.

where can one find their tk17 work? I've not seen them on the tk17 site.

Why are StudioFOW of all people mentioned as a positive example here? I mean ... they killed Scout!
If that is to be aspired to these days, then the world truly has gone bleak.

... I miss Scout.

I'm not too sure what you mean, they use TK17 as their engine to do the animations in which gets recorded and editted into the videos they produce, but if you mean the assets like the environments they use, there was a content (asset) dump on a forum, it was linked from their patreon page. If I can find it again I'll link it.
