It seems you are confused a bit.
the thing they will release is the FIRST version of the Game.
So everyone 'should be' ecstatic if the thing they release will actually contain at least
-enemies that provide a decent difficulty
-any number of animations
-one map (without a shtload of bugfest) that you can complete
I'm not sure what they plan to release, but what you had assumed that they release the next version of the arena. that's not true
ps.
I won't be surprised if they can do less than that. Only a tech demo, with a map maybe with a few enemies that you can defeat but no objectives. So without a map you can finish.
