BIOASSHARD UPDATE 7/17/2025


Hello everyone!

Time for a new report.

This is like a part 2 of the previous report, since, basically, all the main progress done has been for the upgraded Enemies.

This has been the focus lately, since adding so many variants, involves more work. Getting the necessary morphs ready for exporting, the rig joints fixed (orientations tend to be a mess), the UVs correctly placed in one island instead of using UDIMS, rigging the clothes (making UVs and materials for them as well), getting all the textures ready for all the variants they have now, etc.

Also, since the main characters have more polygons now, to optimize the game the best we can, we decided to sacrifice polygons in the enemies, so to avoid making it too noticeable, I’ve been also baking maps from high poly models to this low poly ones, this way, you shouldn’t notice that much of a difference.

Other area where we’ve been optimizing has been the skin shader. Back in the Arena, the skin shader was pretty similar between Julia and the enemies. Now, the main character shader is more complex and of higher quality than before and so we tried to compensate that reducing the load on the enemies’ one. Right now, what’s left for the upgraded enemies, is:
- Some of the other “surprises” I mentioned in the previous report, that I don’t want to reveal yet
- Painting the materials for the clothes (we should have left them naked as in 0.0.1-0.0.3 Arena versions )

Are we, maybe, going too far with the enemies? Maybe yes, but we’re really striving to give our best to you all.

Great news.
Pretty happy about the updates.
I hope they WILL Put Significant Time and EFFORT Into Julia so she can shine and look as good or better then in the Arena version, specifically the 0.3 version where she still had the right amount of

Honestly, you'd think the main priority is just to get Julia, the base enemies and levels done and then release it as the first part of the game and then start working on things like new characters, enemies, bosses, levels and animations to add later.
That wouldve been the best choice. Kinda like what AnimoPron does.

Is it possible to add group animations? And animations with objects?
In the first case, it looks strange when the other zombies get in line and approach one by one.
In the second case, why can't the zombie lean the character against a wall, throw it over a limiting block, or even place it on a table?

There are a few wall based animations and in the preview stage, there appears to be some animations in work for having Julia on the table plus one on a chair.

Your questions are for the developers. We are just customers here.

If you ever wonder why something is not in the game its very likely because the developer did not or has not yet put it in the game.

Have you been up to date at all with the development? They're pretty fucking far from adding any animations and they're redoing the game on UE5.

This section has been in the FAQ since I started following back sometime in 2018. Maybe scenes will be somewhat interactive (QTE's or minigame type something to resist... or not? MAYBE?)

Maybe something like a pass-out mechanic instead of a game-over mechanic, where if the character is infected or 'broken' they pass out after until they recover to normal?

I don't know what we'll end up getting or how deep or shallow it'll be. Speaking for myself, I'm hoping for a domination/submission mechanic that could work like the pass-out thing I mentioned; that way it isn't a total dealbreaker for everyone and too harsh for a p-game when all you wanna do is hop on and get off, right? And because it's an RE parody, I think it would fit the theme well, and yes, I think it's hot as fuck.

Maybe higher tier supporters are more in-the-know, I don't know. The discord really isn't a chatty community like that, so we're all in the dark on it until we get it. Hopefully with this update and the level blocking, that might mean soon.

What is "corruption system" in h.games?
Depends on which way the dev would want to take it, usually it leads to a game-over loss since the character gives up to the enemy. It could be the opposite, serving as a means for even lewder content where the character is enjoying it. The lazy way is just to have lewder scenes and dialogue, but if the dev is really inspired, they could make use of gameplay mechanics without a game-over, out of the character's lust/mindbreak.

Changing Engines in this kind of projects is always a bad idea and will only end making the project takes longer, which means more patreon money.
