I agree and I think I'd probably rank them the same as well, actually. It's also nice that you ask that because it lets me mention something I've been wondering which is how come no one's tried to mod actual Resident Evil like Skyrim's lewd mods?

Like... RE Framework stuff for modders has been done, that's like the master key for modders right? But the only thing modders make are crappy and weaksauce 'eye candy' outfit or nude mods.

Like where is the perverted shit?

(edit) I got better weapons to deal with the plant boss, how the fuck did that make it harder?, Like seriously now I have the shotgun and SMG I take more damage from the enemies when I didn't, more have spawned instead, I seem to be doing less damage and now the boss seems to be more aggressive, did the dev code that the more weapons you get the enemies get stronger and spam more, like holy shit I thought upgrading and getting more stronger weapons would make it easier not even harder what the fuck is this game?!

I love this game but holy shit someone needs to teach the creator basic game dev, the plant boss is just awful, constant mobs, plus roof mobs, they end up spawning more, I don't even know how long I was in the plant fight before I died but Jesus cut the fucking bosses health down by a massive chunk, this is worse then any boss ever, longer then any, I can't keep count of how many bullets I put into it and I haven't even killed it yet it killed me due to spawning to many mobs that when killed instantly respawn, I try and grab something and I'm either stun locked or the character dodges when I don't want them to, Like HOLEY FUCK the creator needs some fucking lessons because this is worse then worse.

The fat zombies I'm not even sure can die because again due to god awful game design they just don't die, even been upgrading my Pistol and takes to long.

Also fuck Mission 2 and 3 those are lazy and go on to long, plus fuck Mission 3 for having the L thing on the roof when the game has never in it's entire life encouraged or shown that things can be above you.

Like I really like the game and concept but it feels like the developer looked up everything not to do in a game and just went "I can do even worse" then proceeded to break every rule of basic game design.

Please for the love of god tone down the fucking health on somethings, make better level layouts and length, the cave map was awful to just due to length, and please for the plant boss, remove the roof enemies, and don't add more, it's already a pain in the ass as it is, why would you just make an already unfair, poorly made fight worse?

Oh also do something about one of the hurt animations, she holds her stomach then walks around in pain for far to long and it just screws you over and wastes to much time. Also what is with this games controls, why is everything so weird, Enter to do stuff instead of E, E to open menu, Back space to cancel, like make Tab Inventory, make f to accept or E and make R or Q or anything close to WASD to go back, why do I need to go across the key bored for basic actions, even if you can rebind they should be a good bind by default, shouldn't be up to the players to fix it, just to adjust it to their liking, not to fix it.
yeah. the boss is bullshit AF. I turned on infinite ammo and near-infinite health in order to beat it. even rockets and grenades don't do enough.

the big fat zombies have a damage reduction. the SMG can't hurt it, but the shotgun takes it right out.
you can knife it to death if you're persistent and nothing else is around to interrupt.
I think the pistol does damage when it crits, which is often enough to do the trick...eventually

yeah, the keyboard controls are rough. controller isn't bad though

Bro not a skill issue if I was intentionally headshotting them with the pistol / smg to test if it is possible to kill them. Which it is basically not.

Also shooting one in the head 3 times with the shotgun isn't a skill issue when crit chance is RNG. The point is even when you do a ton of damage to them they aren't going to die from getting knifed.

I am pretty sure the ones in the training arena where you shoot targets for score / money stuff have more health than the ones in regular mission.

If it is really as easy to do as you say, then please upload a recording of you doing so in level 10.

Edit:

Took 45 stabs when I landed a couple of headshots and stomps on one. After killing 5 of them with just non stop stabs to the belly / back, it is safe to say it took 60 stabs consistently.

I am in the process of testing if they regen health health or not.

Yes they do have health regen if you don't attack them for a while. That or they gain health regen when near each other.

The green one on the right on in the first screenshot, I stabbed him 43 times. Then stopped to stabbed the one with the black tanktop. The one in the black actually bugged out and took over 400 stabbings and was still alive. Which was about 10 minutes of non stop stabbing. I could see the blood splatter and stab marks whenever stabbed. I ended putting him out of his misery with 2 shotgun blast to the head.

I then went back to stab the green one. If he died after 27 additional stabs then it would of been safe to conclude that they don't have health regen. I had to stab him another 60 times for him to die. So it safe to conclude they do have health regen, but not sure exactly triggers it.

Side note it took 20 non headshot stabs to the back to kill a regular zombie.
yeah, the training area fatsos are different than the mission fatsos. they instakill you and have more hp. much harder to stab to death too.
the mission ones are decidedly stabable. i've killed a few that way. probably 50 stabs though. really not hard to kill that way, just a bit tedious.

they are completely immune to the SMG no matter how you upgrade it.
they are surprisingly weak to the shotgun. especially at close range.
explosives work quite well too. frag/incendiary will take them out readily enough, but the RPG is consistently a 1 hit kill.
I think the pistol can do damage when it crits if it's all the way upgraded. been a while since I tried...

BIOASSHARD UPDATE 11/9/2025


Hello everyone!

It’s been a long time since the last report and I want to apologize for that

I’ve been working non-stop, so it’s just that I didn’t take a time to write updates. Still the thing is, that all the work I’ve been doing is mainly code-focused and that’s why it’s like I don’t have anything to show.

Good thing is, when I finish a couple more tasks related to coding stuff, I’ll start working on more visuals like animations (more like fixing some of them) and I’ll probably be showing more stuff (or so I hope).

A summary of things I’ve been working on include:
- Re-coding/fixing/improving the camera: Due to the new Julia model which has a different height compared to the old one from the Arena, the camera stopped “working” (more like it was moved all the way down for all the animations, including aiming).

- Isolate the camera to its own component: I took all the camera code and separate it from Julia’s, this way I’m able to re-use it for the other playable characters just by adding this component to any other character.

- Fixing the aiming pose for Julia: Now I use a procedural approach, avoiding the use of aim-offsets and making sure it always aims to where the crosshair is.

- “Tweaking” the enemies’ AI: Mr.Versus leaked something about this in the latest “Progress” post published on our blog. The tweaks, includes making them a bit more aggressive/scarier, adding new actions, and more…

- Adding physics to Julia: Since she’s using a new model, she didn’t have proper physics yet, but now they’re in for hair, clothes, fats and muscles .

- Adding physics to the enemies: Same as Julia, since they’re new models, they needed their physics as well

- Also fixed some bugs from the past: Like the one that’s been carried over versions, that one where enemies get bugged lying on floor and wouldn’t stand up. From my testing that shouldn’t ever happen again…

- Some other things… *you may notice below

On the other hand, **Mr.Versus have been working hard on making the levels for this Chapter 1 and it’s on another level (he he) compared to the Arena
levels for what I’ve been able to see so far .


And because all this writing is not cool, I’ll stop here and leave some small teasers. Hope you like them. By the way, no facial expressions/animation this time. They’re turned off until I implement the mechanic to read and change between them according to necessities…

Honestly, reading that he's both fixed and improved the camera system is one of the best things ever. More characters, outfits, and animations are great. But, I'd honestly take having less content and a more enjoyable way to play and view the game than more content with the same janky camera system Arena has. I'm glad it seems we'll be getting both.
