In my view, the scene with the parents was tacked in by force. It may be needed for the plot later, but it was poorly done. The MC comes out looking like an ass, or worse as a infantile with no maturity to understand complex decisions.
To me, in a game so poorly written as this one is, with very stupid dialogues, this scene completely takes 1st prize as the worst scene (so far). When I say poorly written, is because no one repeats back the question when replying: "Do you want to drink water, MC" "Yes, I want to drink water now, thank you NPC". This is atrocious to read. Line after line after line.
On this scene, a MC that is aware that it was necessary for his own survival and needed to be done, turns against those that sacrificed their years with their son to protect him, because they protected him. In a tantrum he decides to hurt and leave behind the persons that cared for him enough to help him survive. Yes, he could disagree on the methodology, but not on the intentions and above all after demanding an explanation, maybe he should have let them give it to him.
This is done with an intention, obviously, to make a drama point further down the story. It is stupid, blatantly obvious and poorly done. It fits with the rest of the "quality" of the writing, but is, at this point, the lowest it has come down to.

I fixed 3 scenes in the first couple chapters.
2 broken sex scenes and an animation from the James fight that was not present in both the vn and vn+koga mod. Going to presume the others are fixed with koga mod but didn't get through it yet.
Note: This is using koga mod and the included ep2 script is from koga mod.

The bartending scenes and the workout scene with Lisa are broken in v0.6a The workout scene will at least let you win, but the bartending scenes are automatic losses.

Why the question mark, well it's bc I got the strangest feeling while reading it.
Let me explain, the renders are great. The story isn't original but it's good if you like this kind of tropes. Albeit a bit too... how do I say basic? No it's not the word, Idk... The game just doesn't excite me. The author obviously wants to make more than just a porn game. That's why I'm saying this. While playing it, I didn't feel any thrill or excitement as I would with titles like rebirth or The bite.
1st thing that bothered me is the writing.
It can be considered great given the fact that it doesn't blind you with orthographic mistakes like some other games. But, it's not this side of wrting I want to talk abt. I'm talking abt the one that makes the story smooth, understandable, likeable and appealing, the one that makes you want more.
I don't rly know how to explain it.
The way dialogues were written just seemed a bit off (at least to me).
Like the feeling you get when you watch a movie with bad acting and poor lines or when you see the a youtuber's debut (yeah that exemple just popped in my head lol). That kinda feeling.
I didn't finish the game, I stopped b4 finishing the last challenge.
Second, and it can be linked with the 1st. It's the images (I'm just not sure, do we call those imgs renders? kinda guessed so).
Like I said the renders are great, but like the dialogue they seem off.
Maybe plain is the word, I don't rly know if it's the emotions? the pacing between them (renders) and the dialogue?
Smn pls help me convey what I'm feeling lol.
What my humble self would advise is to try and make scenes in between scenes to make things smoother. Don't cut scenes abruptly if you do it has to make sense with the pace of the story. Avoid "cringey", "useless" or "obvious" inner dialogue... (I don't have an exemple sry, if smn wants to supply me with one, I'll gratefully accept it lol).
Try and add smt that's your own. I have nothing against starting from a general trope but you have to take it and mold it into smt of your own. The chosen one, the vampires powers, the settings of that world... If you have read some similar novels it all seem a bit dull. So yeah try and make it unique. I'm not saying you have to come with smt never seen. You could just for exemple couple that trope with another one. Make a twist in the story...

The 1st one is the mysteries veiled by the plot and the second one is the action.
In some games/stories... action suffice like opm and many others.
Sometimes even when the action in nonexistant, if the plot is great and there are mysteries to unveil. (don't call the scooby gang on me lol) It makes you want to see more, it keeps the appeal alive.
Well, I prefer when one is playing on both sides. I can think of some AVNs that plays rly well on both sides. There is one in particular that I can think of, Idk if it's the fact that the author has been rly steady with his update releases but I found myself addicted to it lol. It's called Superhuman, if you want to give it a try and inspire yourself from it. If you can get past the goth vibe it has (you'll forget all abt it after 30 mins of gameplay) Go for it! At this point I'm not even playing for the porn part. I'm just playing for the amazing plot and the epic battle scenes.
I'm sry if sometimes I sound non-understandable, I'm kinda tired and I'm too lazy to reread and correct potential mistakes.
Anyways, I'm just saying all that and maybe it's just me spouting nonsense.
I know it's your first game, I hope you'll get better. I'll try and keep track of this game's evolution.

The SPOILER links you've circled are for the rework / remaster and go partway through Episode 3. The top links in your screenshot are for the original version (so not reworked), part of the way through Episode 6. Since those aren't redone, you might want to wait on the newer version to catch up. That said, for this last release the dev decided to skip focusing on the remaster to add to the story instead, delaying how long until the remaster catches up. (Yes, it's more confusing this way.)

Obviously everyone's different, but it didn't mislead me at all. I never once thought the mother would be a LI, even without checking tags for the game for any incest content. There is nothing in the game — other than showing her body, I guess — that would indicate even remotely that incest would happen. I just thought that was so we could appreciate the render as players. I didn't get the impression it was anything more than that.

Bug here.
I went into the coffee house bathroom. and I found Amy, I used the power of Amy's mind to make him give me a blowjob, but at the time of the animation, the only thing that appears is the subtitles of Mc's speech and the black screen there is no animation here. I don't think the animation was triggered in the script here.
This needs to be fixed, because I was looking into it and there are both images and animations, but only black subtitles and a black screen appear.
going forward, are the releases going to be similar to shut up and dance? rework/orig/rework/orig ?
if dev have that much time, i'd rather he/she/they just focus on one, orig or rework only.

I wouldn't think it will work like that. When BDS started the rework, he stayed on remastering every update. That is, until this latest one, which was an odd choice. My guess is they'll go back to just reworking again, at least for several releases. However, given this last release continued from the old content, I'm only making an assumption and don't know for sure. I hope they just finish the remake before continuing the story any further, anyway. Hell, I didn't even bother playing this last release b/c I figure I'll get there at some point anyway. I'd like just to play through what's (hopefully) the final version of each release instead of going back and forth.

I give up on this game once again, the game is full of errors in some scripts. and I always have to ignore it to continue playing.
Furthermore, many options of choices always with the same message, this scene is available in future updates, so I don't see any pleasure in playing something unfinished full of errors and with updates that may or may not happen in the future since every unfinished game is very uncertain.... Good luck with your game... DV.

Yep couldn't agree more that's why I quit supporting as soon as remaster started haven't played since, don't know if will if every gets finished. If you haven't yet check out Welcome to Hell 2I give up on this game once again, the game is full of errors in some scripts. and I always have to ignore it to continue playing.
