Last post was on the 29th of November. I'm hoping the dev is fine and this lack of communication is just them prioritizing more important matters. I Wish they will respond to any check-ups in the future. It'd be a shame to see another project with a lot of potential fall to the wayside.

I Played the game, the animations were so GREAT. The Story/Plot is INSANLY Good. I hope you(Dev) Ignore any bad/hateful comments and keep updating the game. Just my preference don't add any ntr pls but you can add netori! wish you best luck for future updates

I am sorry.
Chapter 2 was nearly finished back in August but I realized that the CG quality hadn’t improved much from Chapter 1, which in my opinion looks like shit. So, I decided to take a step back to focus on improve the game CGs (I should have posted about this here—I'm sorry).
Additionally, I noticed issues with the backgrounds and clothing options in many scenes that didn’t align with my vision. So, I’ve started learning modding, which will let me add in things that aren’t available in my version of Koikatsu. So far I’ve figured out how to mod maps into the game
(This is a map from the mobile nier game that I ported to koikatsu) and right now, I’m learning how to mod clothes and hair.
It's still kind of hard for me to juggle work and find time to work on the game, but I promise to post the update for Chapter 2 ASAP. In the meantime, I hope to make it up to you with this month's rewards, which will be public as a gesture of my apology.
The rewards will include:
- 4 short animations (currently, only 1 has sound, but I plan to update all of them to include audio. I’m also working on a longer animation, approximately 8-10 seconds in length.)
- 7 CGs with 'improved quality'.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! I’d like to inform you that Chapter 2 of Bitter Harvest is nearly finished. While I initially aimed to release it this month, I couldn’t quite make it. Modding clothing have been hell for me, but I’ve finally got it working!
The script and scenes for Chapter 2 are already complete. What remains is putting everything into Ren'Py and rendering. If all goes as planned, I’m aiming for a January release.
In addition, all Patreon rewards for November and December will be published alongside Chapter 2. This includes the mods I’ve created so far, such as clothing maps, and eventually, I plan to add hair mod as well.

I'm glad the author is back, but it's sad that there are hardly any people talking about whether I'm playing, and almost no one knows I'm back. We'll wait for him to come back and be more consistent with the game and gain popularity again.
Dev hasn't said a word since the update was released. Probably posted it and then abandoned it again. Dev needs to actually be doing dev things for the update to be publicly released.
As for waiting for a hero there's a grand total of 4 paying members on his Patreon. Sadly it's completely reasonable that none of them are even on F95zone. It also came out long enough ago that if there were more when it released they very well might have already deleted it by now. Only way act 1.5 makes its way here is if it gets unabandoned a second time or someone subs just to leak it.
