It's 1 guy developing the game, who have a social life and a job. Get paid less than 200 dollars a month after patreon take their cut, working on it in their free time. Sure the development is annoyingly slow and i fully recommend using the money cheat ingame and save editing files for extra starter points as it is grindy as hell. Cuts what would normally take over 30 hours down to less than 14, just gonna cost you like 30min spam reading books for that EXP

The systems are not adding to the game, they are detracting.
The game is too grindy.

Dev doesn't need to add more systems to this game. He needs to delete most of them since they only add grind and micromanagement. In an engine that was not designed for it.

Stop working on grindy systems and make some actual porn for this here porn game.

If I was wrong then this game would have a higher score and more patreon support.
It is a huge shame the sheer wasted potential here.

You seem to get this personal and totally wrong...
What I am telling you is that this game was like this from the beginning... heck it was even worse... for example what is currently "spare parts" were singular items requiring atleast 1 iron for crafting... and you required far more parts to repair the bridge and upgrade the house for example... sure it helped leveling mining and forgeing... still much more grind.

You seem to have the missconception that THIS game is like the rest... which is wrong and most of the people that rated it lowly had atleast a compareable opinion... as for it's low support... let's face it the Update cicle is far to low to make many people put their trust in the game.
It's a great game if you enjoy the gradual but slow growth of a Character not so much if you want a fast paced RPG or even Fap game... this is a niche product so yeah it has a rather small fan base though the Dev ad those Fans enjoy it... that's the only important thing here.

There are some H games which are pretty much just scene galleries with extra steps. Then you have other H games (like this one) where the H aspect takes a backseat to the gameplay. Is one superior to the other? No, it just depends on what each individual player is looking for. If you download Black Garden, do so knowing that your hand is NOT going to be on your d-ck all the time. (again, which is fine)

I may be mistaken, but I don't recall a promise to update by April. Their last update was April last year. Since then they've posted previews on their Patreon.
Last post from June says they ran into scripting issues

I am pretty sure that includes Patreon only and demo or Test versions and apparently those are given out every now and than

Honestly this game is abandoned in everything but in tag.the last update where more than a year and half. And yes feyring talk about an update but people can lied. I don't think the modderators can be so innocent.

I don't think I've ever said anything other than words of encouragement here, because I want the dev to keep interest in the game.

I have to admit, at the rate things are going, we'll be on the other side of WWIII before we see significant progress here.
I wonder if real life struck our guy?

I've also been really busy in real life so progress has been slow in general. The update should be out before the end of the year unless I die or get isekaid into another world.

Don't worry about it, we're just looking forward to the next update. Remember: when people complain about something you just released then it means they didn't like it. Conversely whenever people are complaining that you aren't releasing, that means they like it enough to want more. Despite the tone, it's probably the most sincere complement you can receive. Somewhat true, when people complain about something it's not only because they don't like it, it's also because they do like it, they just want to see said thing done better, hence why you will see some people complain endlessly but still stick around. I'd say a better way to word it is disappointed.
