I was actually referring to how her race has so little immune system that they require those mask and suit filtration systems just to survive. Pumping in tons of a different species' animal proteins (cum) would probably kill her in hours to days at best.
I always thought that was strange. Everyone aboard the Normandy undergoes decon whenever they board the ship. It's pretty much as sterile an environment as the Flotilla is.

They actually explained it a bit more in several of Tali's quest chains and some of her little skits. The air is sterilized 'enough' for the races. But not enough for Tali's people. Seriously. A single speck of dust seems to be capable of screwing with their immune systems. The Flotilla actually has 'the most advanced filters in the known universe' which is actually said in-game.
And yet they're nearly all scientists and wanderers. Seems a bit ironic that the race that needs the most particular environment is the one that travels through inhospitable ones the most.
Honestly, I forget if they need something extra in their air or not. We didn't get told all that much about their planet the Geth destroyed. But I do know that they can take their suits off in special stations their race lives in out in space.
Heck, we don't really know what Tali and her race look like. Other than doctored photos from fans, the only image in-game that exists was a bullshit stock photo that pissed off gamers immensely. Look it up. Its a photo pulled off some website of a woman in a sweater or shawl. Talk about lazy, lol.

So they did it to themselves. If the filters they use on the Normandy filter enough one has to wonder why the Flotilla went full retard on theirs and let themselves become a race of spacefaring anemics.

Yep. You also have to wonder why its still such an issue, considering the level of biological sciences in Mass Effect, especially the Salarians.
It isn't a recent thing, either. And they made it worse themselves by only living in said sterility so their immune systems stay weak. So breeding children with stronger immune systems seems like it would be a 'duh' situation.

you have to remember that after they were kicked out from rannoch, the rest of the council space races started to lose trust and eventually they weren't allowed to go anywhere for a long time (tali and the other quarians that you meet in either the citadel or illium are treated like ''dirty immigrants'') so my headcannon is that salarians weren't either allowed to help, or outright refused to so they got stuck on their own ships which eventually led them to overprotect themselves, causing the problems that they have now

So simple, yet so cool. As a Mass Effect fan, I still enjoy that little game from time to time. I like the idea of femshep (or any ME girl you're into) being a galactic whore and I wish there was more game about this.

Played this in Newgrounds a few months ago. It's very repetitive, grindy, boring, and the art isn't that great.
I give 1.5/5 stars - at least there's no bugs.
