I mean, fair. It's their life and they decide hwo to go about their self-employment, but they also stablished a roadmap, like releasing a short game by June, we're in the last weeks of July. Some comunication goes a long way when you have a job that has to report to a public. Hell, if you're employed you know, not reporting your work to your boss wont fly by even an hour past any deadline

I’m curious how much money does take to make a game well a game that has animation and other stuff

Surprisingly. Money is less of a problem, and most of the time, it is Time and Patience.

Example: A lot of these massive Companies and Corporations, who has hundreds if not thousands and more, Employees. Working day in and out to make a Quality Game. Fails far often, especially lately. And often, it chalks down to Time and Patience, for the game to take the time it needs to be properly polished and made, rather than half-baked or missing/lacking things in it. Then getting released, and people criticize it for lacking what was promised, or made stupid changes, or that the DLC gave the game Core Content that should of come with it, if not for free. And so on.

All we can do for Black Rune. Is to wait patiently, and find something else to enjoy, and let the necessary time pass. Since the Pastaskii did not want to get paid, only your Time and Patience. And probably some Burnout on his side. Burnout happens a lot to people who work on things mostly on their own, if not truly on their own. Same reason why i am pretty excited but also concerned for BBQ's FPS NTR Game, that has gotten my interest like a very hungry wolf circling it's slowly cooking meat, hoping for Platinum, but expecting Copper Quality.

Rant over. Take care.

Depends on several factors, I'm assuming you mean a porn game that runs on something like RPGM.

The price depends on how much you do yourself and how much you outsource. The art probably costs the most, if you have someone that draws high quality art it can take them a long time and cost a lot more than if you were to use mediocre art or god forbid AI "art".
- 3D art is usually cheaper than 2D because once the model has been made it's mostly just animating and posing, no need to redraw anything unless you want unique looks/clothes.
-2D art costs more due to having to redraw frames. Whilst people can save on this by drawing a pose and then only drawing different facial features to overlap those facial features, but if you want a different pose you'd have to redraw it all. Animation especially requires a lot of frames to make one animation, unless you opt for the crappier ones that only move the drawing a bit for "animation" but those look really fake and underwhelming.

Coding can also cost you, especially if you don't do it yourself. Depending on what program you use you might have to buy a license for it (or pirate it). Depending on how many featured you want your game to have, the coding is going to take longer. Every stat/mechanic you introduce is basically going to multiply how much coding you have to do, especially if they interact.

So for coding you might have to pay an hourly wage and for art you'd probably pay per drawing.

If your game has 200+ drawings you can easily expect to pay a couple of grand for the art alone.

But if you do all of it on your own, it just takes a lot of time

If you already seen the stuff he did before it’s pretty amazing i know he said he made a few changes to Black Rune because it was necessary

Just hope he won't change the story and characters. I like the village chief being netori guy. A lot of his fans are waiting for village chief x charles sex scene too.
