First time with japanese games? It's not so frequent, but also not so rare to have devs that pretty much only announce a new game when it's completely finished and otherwise are full radio silence.
I mean, fair. It's their life and they decide hwo to go about their self-employment, but they also stablished a roadmap, like releasing a short game by June, we're in the last weeks of July. Some comunication goes a long way when you have a job that has to report to a public. Hell, if you're employed you know, not reporting your work to your boss wont fly by even an hour past any deadline
