Whenever I play an RPGM game that doesn't use a mouse, the cancel button stops working randomly making it impossible to leave any menu. What can I do to stop this from happening?
EDIT: I figured it out. When the cancel button stops working, HOLD down shift and spam 0 on the numpad until it starts working again. It'll continue occasionally, but at least you can fix it without worrying about losing progress.

This is just a Joiplay RTP cache bug, not specific to this game. Imma leave a simple guide here for everyone trying to fix this on Joiplay:
1. Grab the VX Ace RTP zip file if you ain't already
2. Open Joiplay and go to Settings, scroll down and then tap Clear Runtime Packages. Wait for it to finish
3. Reopen the game in Joiplay. Now it will ask you to reimport the RTP. Simply choose the VX Ace zip file
4. Wait
5. ???
6. Vola!
Yes but extremely unlikely. There's a lot of trip ups. Few of them are pretty easily missed.
If you know how they died in the original fairy tale you might figure it out on your first run. There are a few instances like that in BS1. But yes its quality shiny bait for the regular lootgoblin.
I wouldn't put them in the heroine category. Not compared to like Leaf or Goose. If every girl with a pretty face goes in, then it is impossible to save them all.
You can't imprison the demon princesses and one of them requires the others' deaths to open the way to the final area. When someone says heroine in the context of this game, I think of anyone you can summon to battle.
Is it required to kill the princesses? Just got with Rapunzel and she seems... Nice(?) Kinda feel bad killing her after getting her op ring.

Anyone know how to "rest" (basically heal and refill mana without using items) or just we don't have that in this game?
Yes, I know, but what is bonfire? I'm going around to the witch's house, but even at that place I don't know what bonfire is. I can't interact with any objects that healing me
