So I finished Black Soul I, missed some side quests characters like Hansel & Gretel and Izu, but overall got all the endings.
Now I'm going to play part two, can someone gives me a few beginner tips like e.g

Are the chosen classes/Alice form at the beginning relevant?
Anything I should avoid in case it causes a bug etc.

-Red box at the library interact with it till you get the double souls and item droprate rings. Just like BS1
- 3 Alice choices. Pick your favorite(for now)
-First run go in blind after that look up things. BS2 has a lot more mechanics and world events. SEN being the biggest value
-Chaos Dungeon a Dungeon Crawler is your place to grind and get lots of items if you struggle in the main game. However BS2 also has the hidden rabbit garden which can also help you grind souls.
-Mabel best girl

That is all i can think of atm

I think the only thing that matters in the beginning is if you are trying a true run from the getgo is class and Cheshire gift which usually the Master Key by far is the best thing to get early on

Sup guys, me again :)

2nd playthrough right now, and yes, I kept following te guide (since this is a game with loads of variables and I lack the time to go through a game's learning curve).

But for some reason in the Cathedral right before turning the switch on in the basement, the plague mask dude or ma'am didn't get crazy.

Is it because I had some item that prevented him going mad? Or did I mess up something?
(Note this run I kinda didn't kill JubJub, just locked her in a cell to get all of her CGs... So maybe someone went nuts, found him and killed him, or he went even nuttier and killed someone?)

No, not especially. Choose whichever you like.
Not particularly. The game is pretty bug free. There are some things that can't be taken back without running ng+ though. The game is designed to be run NG+ though.
Node is a good way to modify your sen. She doesn't mind a little death or rape.

make frequent seperate save files, make sure to check whether or not you get a fairy tale from a spirit, and of course, save alice, no one else matters :BootyTime:

I was pretty sure I did... But then, she seems to be out of the game, so maybe I messed up :)

Is there a version with music before the patch? I kinda wanna experience the game again with Toro's intended soundtrack.

So, to anyone that is getting annoyed by the snake god's curse even after going to the snake at the CG room, I found a way to disable it.
You need to get this save editor: https://f95zone.to/threads/rpg-maker-save-editors.51/
Then once you opened your rvdata2 file with it, you click on 'Advanced' on the upper tab and press 'Edit Switches and Variables'.
Then find Switch number 618 and un-check it.
This will completely disable the scares.

How the fuck do you even get those scares? I never managed to get one. All I got is a respawning snake enemy in the Cathedral.

You hurt Bill in any way shape or form and the Snake God will get angry. Then continues to haunt you for the rest of the game till you hit NG+.
Similar to Dark Souls red invaders just permanent.
