Good catch, thanks for the report; typo on the function there.Unplayable
The game should warn you before you begin the main mission if the stability of your character is dangerously low, and let you improve it from that screen.Is it just me? I've tried about six restarts, trying out various settings for MC, but I couldn't get past the first day of the mission. Every single time she "crack"ed and game over.
BTW, will be it ever possible to go High School - Gap Year - College and then to a main game without it ending pre-maturely?
Dipped back into the game recently for the first time in a long while, but it still ended after the prologue so assumed that was it.And here we have the hilarious dichotomy: other people who want *more* Prologue.
But the answer is yes, 0.7 will allow Claire to go through the whole prologue.
Check for updates; there was an issue causing Claire to crack effectively immediately that got addressed in a hotfix.Is it just me? I've tried about six restarts, trying out various settings for MC, but I couldn't get past the first day of the mission. Every single time she "crack"ed and game over.
The juxtaposition between a Highschooler using the term "quorum" and about how this is "yuour story" is delightful
Oh there absolutely is. In fact, it was happening to people too often originally, so the guideposts were shifted. Avoid doing things that increase your Learning Stat (more or less straightforward).Hello, is there any way to completely fail high school? Or does the game automatically do whatever it can to pass you?
IIRC you also have option to plain drop out and not bother finishing it?Oh there absolutely is. In fact, it was happening to people too often originally, so the guideposts were shifted. Avoid doing things that increase your Learning Stat (more or less straightforward).
OK, i see the problem. Your MC has base confidence of -1 and there was a bug in v0.5 of the game, where it'd make Claire automatically crack even if she didn't suffer any actual mindbreak.Second save is going home which got me my first mind break.
<<if $mindBreak gt $Stats.Traits['Confident'].value>>
It was all too much for me. I couldn't go [[on|END]].
<<else>>
//...
if $mindBreak gt 0 and
etc) otherwise if Claire has negative Confidence then she will break immediately, even if mindBreak
count is at 0 and regardless of how much stability she has. Since 0 is technically greater than a negative number, so condition is met.Never seen this posted up before;I've been getting this everytime I try to save in every HTML game. Anyway to fix this?
