As you mentioned, it kills RA's premise but keeping in mind 7 yrs of dry humping got us nowhere, the goal should be trying to reach some middle ground here.
Personally I prefer RA's concept but, just like you, I'll play Zip's every time it updates...

yeah there seems to be an error in the code where a jump doesn't connect, probably because of a typo, since the images seem to be present.

flip a coin, they look like the same version... maybe try both and see if the hash matches (your client will probably ask if you want to merge them if it does)
