the v0.15.494 before the reboot is effectively the newest version of the "Dark Path", there isn't much in the "depravity" version yet... not if you hope for a story/game

I wouldn’t bother with Depravity get. There’s not enough content. Wait for the next release or the one after that for it to be considered a game.

It's basically the same thing because the naming changed a good year ago. Definitely play 0.15.494 first because you won't see that much content for the next year (at least)

Because that's his modus operandi... promise a release date then miss it and several weeks or even months later post some bullshit excuse then drop the release about a month after that.

The actual excuses he's used so far include...

1) "I had to move unexpectedly and it will be at least two months before I can get internet" (this was the day AFTER he said he was going to upload it in the morning... evicted overnight apparently).

2) "I took the wrong thumb drive to work and discovered it was the wrong one when I tried to upload it" (Didn't get released until 6 weeks after that excuse).

3) "Unexpected illness." (5 week delay)

4) "My upload speed is super slow guys, should be finished in the morning" (that one took 3 months BTW).

There are those who still believe his bullshit but most have figured out by now he's a scammer who invests minimal time in developing the game and lies about release dates religiously. He only scrambles to release content when his subscriber count gets critically low on SS then rushes to assemble 15 minutes worth of game play so he can sucker a few newbies into throwing his some cash.

His latest addition to the scam is deciding to "Remake" this version despite the fact that his previous version wasn't even 10% completed (and that's sad because it was just a stripped down version of the original BBS).

Safe to assume it's somewhere in the middle though. Regardless it's basically free money considering the next update was scheduled to be released on May 20th (with subsequent ones on May 27, June 3rd then June 10th as he said he was going to a WEEKLY update schedule to restore the old content). Which for those unable to count currently puts him FOUR updates behind without a peep out of him as to why.
He's just a milking bullshitter and anyone that believes a word that he says is frankly too stupid to trust with money anyway.

It's often worse than any of that. His subs were hitting almost 500 when he announced stuff, a lot more than what they are now. It's a like retarded model on half these hits, where they're far too stupid to keep the stack and instead choose to squeeze it. 500 off releasing shit, not in their fucking playbook, they'd rather squeeze that stack and drip the content, because most of them are making something else, and trying to run more numbers by being half assed about literally everything. A few are valid and have no idea about marketing it and cannot keep up with the demand.

What's worse than any of that, is a place like this, where mods, the peer group, or some avidly dumb fan sooner bans any discussion on it. Or a third party medium away from the sub platform, like discord, where the dev sells bullshit squeezing any fans more. Posts shit that isn't held accountable. As in you don't update your fucking subs no fucking numbers. No no no discord will squeeze them instead with let's make dates or renders or say stuff that some idiot will believe in.

The following quests CANNOT be completed in the latest version despite appearing in the quest log. Some can be started but NOT completed because that content is not implemented yet.

OH MY GOD! I downloaded the latest version (0.15.53) the one that is supposedly a sandbox but is basically a kinetic story. What the hell did Zip do with the characters? The mother doesn't talk like a mother. The sisters don't talk or act like sisters... it's a complete DISASTER, nonsensical and unbelievable! It looks like it was written by bxIvan, a member in the fan art thread where Bob had children with them and is now the father of the family. NOTHING in this Zip game looks like real people. Basically all the women are whores.

The mother bumps into her son in the bathroom, he takes off her towel, and she keeps talking to him without covering her breasts. Seriously.. what sisters would put their asses in their brother's face for him to evaluate them? Not even girls who weren't his sisters would do that. This is not a game about corrupting girls. They are all already corrupted (not counting the girl who kills a guy and lets Bob rape her sister and doesn't care about it. Hey Zip, she's not a psycho... she's just a poorly written character).

Instead of asking for updates, you should ask ZIp to hire a writer.


One detail: the game file is called BadBobbySaga_MOD, the characters are the same as in Bad Bobby Saga, the house is mostly the same as in Bad Bobby Saga, but there is NO MENTION of Rainces in the credits. Zip even still uses assets from the original game, like the truck render in the world map, even though he replaced it with a Beetle in the house. It seems to me that Zip tries to omit the fact that he is not the same developer of Bad Bobby Saga so that users think it is all the same thing.

No. The original game by RAince was epic, Bad Bobby. The only problem was it didn't end. It left everybody playing wanting more. However what is there was good. Darkpath is a failed comparison.

The problem with these games is they get greedy instead of consistent. They need to keep up with demand to keep their fans, if that dev/group has a timeline like a deadline of three-five years from start to finish, they can rake in massive profit if they're consistent, instead of being half assed, and if they made something with appeal. There's a bigger market. Except they're mostly half assed, updates get smaller, and smaller, and they're not consistent in every 3 months, or monthly. A monthly update doesn't need to add much, adding renders and increasing any story, by comparison to a chapter every 3 months and a larger expansion. But they fart around squeezing their hand, base, instead of increasing appeal, and then the dev drops it and makes something else, many were already, making a few things. Many tend to spend more time on social media, Discord, then updating their subs.

But BBS is different that way. The sexual tension buildup and the hot characters are its strong points. You mess with them, you mess with its premises. Full sex can be included in the game without breaking it, but it needs proper scripting. You could fuck sisters friends first (Julia, Evelyn, Vicky, shoplifters, stripper,...) while closing in on siblings and mom. You can even fuck them but never willingly (drunk, drugs,...) and under very specific conditions (avoiding being caught).

What you can't do is to open the gates of hell and promote an easy going fuckfest with your closest relatives. It makes no sense, it's quite a turn off, it's just making another brainless fap game like most renpy games out there. Pointless and plain stupid.
