Same issue here. The Event progress is f*cked up. Some events don't trigger (shop : Dead or Alive), some appears to be do-able but are locked with "next update" on the scene (Lucy Daily Events...).
I don't even know if the update events are over or not...

GAllery don't work by the way...

# Not necessarily... This one has lots of "sex" and lots of grinding. Going through the days just to miss an event is grinding, spending 10 rounds to trigger an event is grinding. And this one has plenty enough. Sexual tension buildup is starting by "accidentally" cupping a feel, proceeding to blackmail, guilt trips, drugs tryouts, seduction, and then, only then get some sex from a friend of hers ( she still manages to fend off his advances). You can enjoy the ride till climax... It doesn't need to be through grinding. It's missing some serious teasing, serious brain work.

Using the phone to see all the events with each character tells you exactly where to be at what time.
I have no idea how you would need to go 10 "rounds" to trigger an event if you used the tools the game have provided for you. I don't even think you need to earn money as I never ran out. I had $0 and still I could give $50 to Lucy.
There might not be tension build-up but there is not a lot of grinding after the reboot.
The events should be marked more clearly if you can actually progress so you don't need to waste time watching the same scene. He has never been good at marking the end of an event for the update.

Perhaps you made a mistake in the expressions and used the word mod incorrectly? Because the developer made a full-fledged game based on another game and not an addition to it, these are completely different things. Not to mention that for the re-release he uses the same menu and basis, and therefore the same code as in the previous version with the same errors that I mentioned.

Nope he took RAinces game wholesale and added to it / edited it (making it a "standalone" mod), probably because he lacked the skill/knowhow to make a mod that could patch into RAinces game... This "reboot" is him deleting the bulk of RAinces code/content.

Dude did you read the post I made just before yours? "Dark Path" was RAinces Game + Extra scenes by Zip, Zip has deleted the Bulk of RAinces Content (some of it will be restored), he was struggling with

1. certain aspects of RAinces code so he scrapped it with a view to writing a better version from scratch (hence missing content)
   and
2. certain RAinces story arcs that he has no intention of continuing.

TL;DR
RAinces content go bye bye!!! if you want RAinces content, go to RAinces thread and do the ceremony of summoning that calls Devs and makes them finish their games.

Zips spoken on Discord about removing the "Game Overs", apparently a lot of people hated them, so those scenes will probably come back as dreams.

The stuff he introduced to RAinces game will be back too when he figures out how to introduce it into the new format/story.

** New Jenny ** Poll

Hey Folks,

Before I start creating the new content for Jenny I am thinking about changing the model as I don't think the current model is working,so I created a new model with two different skins.

The fair skin is closer to Ms Anna and the darker skin is from her Dad's side. Also, I made her younger so she is closer to Bobby in age and also she is the same height without heels.

There is only 3 scenes in the game with Jenny at the moment so there is not much to change so this is the best time to change.

So please give me back some feedback on which model you want in the game.

# Maybe I don't recall it right but I think you have to go through 10 rounds as security guard in the store to trigger the event. And some take 6 rounds and so on...

If you mean less "nonsense" grinding due to poor coding and planning, I agree. But it's still there, just to stretch gameplay. You could use those for tension buildup like you mentioned but not what I meant. I want seamless tension buildup, as part of the story if not its core, like RA used to do. "Looky not touchy" kind of stuff that eventually would lead to some sort of devious release (forced sex with Julia or Vicky comes to mind)...

# One of key points for success in these games is a good choice of models (characters). So many RenPy games with disappointing girls... RA simply stroke gold when he assembled this cast. He made a mistake when he replaced Jenny (rendering issues), something I never got used to, and now Zip (aka RA) wants to go down that same road... Is that so hard to simply focus on new content?

I remember playing Duke Nukem back in the day. And there was this scene where Duke storms a night club, throwing money at the highly pixelated strippers and saying: "shake it baby". It got burnt in my brain forever... That was fun. Fuck ultra hd textures, fuck cinematic lighting with extra tweaking. Ready-to-use packs will do just fine. Can't they just focus on the fun...?

Zip worked on DarkPath? Perhaps stuff like the game overs, are they in the original game?

I understand your post, did you understand mine? You're suggesting Zip didn't like RAinces framework, so he's decided to remove the old code, or something? However it's kind of ironic when the layout is the same game. The house, the town, and what not. That code is there anyway. D'oh. It's an excuse.

The debate becomes, why is Zip removing stuff Zip put in? Like the game overs. Zip's version had more dresses in it. We never really got to see what all the dresses did, before it changed into the present.

I asked specifically, why did it add a shopkeeper's assistant if she just got fired anyway? Where is the Dark content? It's a bunch of repeated training, and it has been very vanilla. Like he hasn't played with the drunk he's giving money too. It didn't go into that explicit content like immediately. It became repeated kissing. You're joking. Not the gaff tape and the rope. Or the other dresses. Why is he learning fight moves if he never fought her? Meanwhile his security job hasn't needed it.

It is what is. However there is some misleading rhetoric on how much Zip had a hand in the other version before in changed to Memoirs. Who really cares. We all want the content, and there will always be comparisons when it is remaking, redoing, or something.

No Bud I don't think you understood my post at all. I'm not suggesting anything, I'm simply presenting the facts as I understand them.

Ziptiefun has stated on Discord that he didn't like certain mechanics in RAinces game and blamed them for some of the reoccurring bugs (mechanics like the stats system).
The House/Town etc, are not mechanics, those are art assets

There is no debate, ZipTieFun has stated on Discord that he is removing the Gameover due to feedback.

The "Dresses" came from RAinces version IIRC. You didn't get to see all the dresses because RAinces never finished them. Go talk to RAinces about that. (though I have no idea if they are "gone" or not, they could simply be on the "to do" list, maybe to be reintroduced when the club in brought back into the game)

You're seriously asking me to tell you about Zips motivations???? How would I know what he is planning?, I've can only tell you about what I've gathered from various sources.... Mind reading isn't one of them. So far all he has said on that account is that he is planning to reintroduce content when it feels right for the story.

I think this update was a miss. When I grind through an event 4, 6, or 10 times to complete it, I expect there to be a payoff or anything at all different to happen at the last repetition. This update had none of that. The scene you see in repetition 1/6 is the one you see at 6/6 and beyond. The other thing that irks me is leaving events incomplete midway without having a proper stopping point.
