Same as two previous posts, got tons of errors (when opening map, going to some location, etc.).
I'm not loading a previous save, i started from scratch... Which makes me wonder: did the developer test that game before releasing it ?

First of all, I’d like to make something very clear. I am a STUDENT not a professional developer. I have never worked on any program of this size and scope before. If you’re expecting my F R E E and W I P game to be magically free of bugs and working perfectly, you’re living in some kind of utopia and I want in.
I’d like to refer you to Bethesda and Ubisoft who RELEASE BUGGY AAA titles. Now, obviously the scope of their games is on a completely different level from mine, but the fact remains they released buggy games, while mine is still in development.
I’d also like to point out most games don’t release updates of their WIP games, or have to deal with keeping existing saves compatible. These seem to me to be what the majority of complaints are about, though I could be wrong about that. I’d like to refer you to Baldur’s Gate 3, which is in early access right now, and again, is obviously on a completely different level from my game, but the fact remains not all of their updates allow for the use of old saves.
If what I have just said has offended anyone’s delicate sensibilities, or you disagree with what I’ve just said, feel free to leave and never come back. No one’s keeping you here.

To all those who report bugs and post their tracebacks and don’t just whine incessantly about what a shit game this is, thank you, I really appreciate it. I can’t catch all the bugs on my own.

Some of you seem to be worried about dev promises and all that because you’ve been burned in the past. I can but offer you my assurances that I won’t go back on what I’ve said.
I’d like to reiterate: there won’t be forced threesomes, no forced ntr. You will be able to go through the entire game and just have single relationships with each of the girls you so wish to, who won't have relationships with others if you don't want them to. You don’t even have to have a relationship with every character if you don’t want to.

Kathy is NOT an escort. She works in an escort club as a waitress. I haven’t exactly done extensive research on how escorts operate, but I'm fairly certain you don't have to have sex when you hire an escort. A prostitute, as far as I’m aware, only offers sexual services, but escorts have a wide range of services they offer which includes literally just talking if the client so wishes, so if you disagree with how I’ve reasoned it out, how Kathy fills in occasionally but with clear boundaries, that’s a slightly different issue and we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

Apologies for the bugs when starting a new game. I made what I thought were minor tweaks and so I didn’t test them, but I made a stupid mistake which has resulted in new bugs. New game should work properly now. This should also fix the problems with going to locations with Tahlia and problems with Helpful Lad quest. Let me know if it doesn’t. I've requested an update so the hotfix version should be coming soon.

Did you by any chance use the "Update" function? I did it (not having understood what it was ), starting to play a new game and those errors appeared, so in my opinion they are due to the improper use of that function.

Well, game characters and story are ok..but, oh well, even I've played lots of these sandbox-stuff, still this feels way too restricted sandbox and half of the game goes skipping hours atm. That may be bearable still if story is ok and moves on...

BUT: I started play with this 0.5 version and this is buggy AF. At some point, those script errors started popping out about everywhere like hell, whatever I tried to go or do. Like it started crash by accessing map in different times, trying to go rooms, trying to chat...whatever - error. Due these continuous crashing errors this game version is nothing but unplayable.
Meh, trash can calls again.

Ah, hostess is probably closer to what I was going for. I didn't know it was a thing. I've just looked up some differences between prostitutes and escorts and it seems pretty clear that escorts aren't required to offer sexual services, so I think having her work as a waitress in an escort club still works. This is quite particular in countries with sex laws, where escorts are allowed, but as soon as they offer sex, they can be charged for prostitution, so in law at least the two are very different.

No worries my guy, its understandable that you're gonna miss certain things in the game because you've been working on it yourself so it kinda becomes a routine in a way(you know what to expect and forget on or 2 things). Same thing happens when working on school papers for example or for work its better to ask someone else to proof read it or in this case play. They come in with no expectations and no idea what is in the game, they are gonna look at it in a different way then you the creator. Could be a good idea to look for someone to play test it for you, ask a friend that you know who plays these types of games too idk its your choice.

I enjoyed the game btw keep it up.

Nobody expects a bug free game.

Everybody expects a developer to do at least regression testing on *anything* they change. But, like you've said, you're new to this, now you have learned and hopefully you'll do better as you continue to learn.

Anyone who expects you to be perfect, no matter what topic they expect you to be perfect in, can go hang.

Everyone, especially everyone here, expect you to learn from mistakes you've made and not make that mistake again.

There are so many ways to fuck up, just try not to fuck up the same way repeatedly.

The same thing happened to me but it doesn't prevent you to trigger the side events after seeing the main event with uncle Peter You save when the black screen appeared then, you're back in your room and you can keep playing, no?
The only "annoying" thing is that those side events will have to be triggered again after the next update since we have to load the save after the main event.

Ok but your still having the same problem when the next version comes out with more side content and it ends prematurely again.

I'm getting Exception Errors at certain times clicking om the pool & the bathroom. Enjoying things pretty well other than that.
