Don't bother trying to convince these armchair game selling experts. They'll cherry pick things that they like, and not actually the market trends. The simplest way to put it is that a game that someone wants to make is more likely to do well than a game they don't want to make. All you get for trying to purely cater to a winning formula is soulless shovelware.

i think you can have both male and female protags just haveing a male protag is kinda being a male shoenist pig. by the way i am male so i just think both male and female should be in equal standing's. just my way of thinking so just me i guess

I don't think preferring one over the other makes you a chauvinist or whatever. Honestly, I don't care what people enjoy as long as they stick to their lane. It absolutely baffles me how people who obviously aren't the target audience like to make obviously impractical suggestions or suggests a game isn't doing better because it doesn't cater towards a "more general" crowd. Honestly, if it were so simple, The Manor would putting bread on his table. Obviously it isn't.

you should try seperating fantasy from real life issues, wether someone wants to play as male only or female only has nothing to do with real life equality btw sexes, prefering one over the other dose not make anyone into a swine thats just a ridiculous way of thinking, also this is not a forum for discussing political viewpoints or standings.

Yes and No. The dev is working on it albeit very slowly. He's active on his discord. If you're asking when he'll finish it. Unfortunately, probably never.

No, he's currently working on TM, so it's unknown when the update will be released. He seemed to have said he was planning to release an update for SG this year
