afterall he is doing it only for us, right ?
Maybe we should be nicer to Icstor & Gumdrop aswell.
Maybe this should become the update shedule in general for all h games.
Maybe it's bad using our brain
Maybe the h game community should be angry at fast & reliable devs for beeing exactly that: fast & reliable.
Perhaps my boss should also bear with me if i fail to deliver for almost 7 months.

Seriously. I hate when people try and be all high and mighty and ‘moral’ or whatever when it comes to defending devs. Devs make their game knowing full well there are expectations to meet. When a game takes 6 months for an update, or alternatively, 2 updates a YEAR, you have to, as a consumer, start wondering what could be taking so long. Like you said, it’s not as if they aren’t getting paid for it.
Look at Summertime Saga, they rake in like 50k a month and they still take months for updates that consist of 3 H-Scenes. It’s the norm now for most devs. Literally most devs have either abandoned their games or take months and months for small updates aside from developers like NLT Media (Treasure of Nadia). Such a huge game that needs 3d rendering etc. and their updates are still so consistent.

Also, if the dev IS ill, depressed, busy etc. they usually let their audience know rather than keeping them in the dark. If they are indeed in a situation like above then that’s fine, but not saying anything about it would be stupid.

At least we only had to wait like 6 month so far, other game like Aylia's story have some guys waiting 8 years since the last demo with the promise the next update will came out 2 days later

In regards to the discussion, I've always said that the ones that should say this stuff and take matters into their hands are the ones that are supporting him via Patreon/SubscribeStar. He ain't delivering? Then why keep the train going? As for all of us mateys in here, yes, it's valid to share your opinions (whether positive or negative) but it's not our work to help the ones blinded by it to understand. Why? Because they won't do jackshit.

Now, after that rant, what does that have to do with The Manor or the Doc? Easy, people who don't see any type of results or progress keep paying, and if they don't care whether or not something is delivered that's on them, we shouldn't be fighting their fights. Not because it doesn't affect us but because they don't even care to begin with, so why should we? And yes, I know Patreon/SS doesn't guarantee shit, as you're not paying for the product but hell, even some info would help from time to time!

So, does that mean I hate the Doc or that I have something against him? Nope, because I'm not paying and therefore I don't mind what he does cause ultimately it doesn't affect me or the hundreds of other users that aren't giving him money either, the affected are the ones that are paying and if they don't give a shit, why should we? If the Doc keeps raking it in, good for him, I have no ill-will towards him or want people to stop supporting him either, but if you don't at least ask for breadcrumbs of info from time to time, nothing guarantees you'll get something.

Never really seen Doc lie about anything, you're told no dates on release just an estimated date, if the update doesn't drop 9/10 Doc will say something on the Discord, when a release is dropped it has dropped, move on forget about it for the next few months and get another update, there's more than this game to play on the forums, if you're not happy about that then you'll never be happy in life, now can we all just move on instead of derailing the thread? :|
