LOL Nothing but lies, and to think we all allowed ourself to be fooled by Bones up until now. If he's actually work with that amount of time each week then not just the Manor but Survivor Guilt would have been finish or in near ending stage right now, such a goddamn shame it won't happen and will never happen
He's ruined both of his games and even his reputation with this shady shit

Currently I really believe his work ethic is something like that:

He works every day, but probably only for 1-2 hours. The rest of the day he uses for other stuff (playing games, hangout with friends or something like that). He does not work on the weekend.
He gets payed every month and it doesn't matter if he releases something or not. So time is on his side.
In this time he will just work a bit until his games will get the abandoned tag. And as we all know, this could be up to 8 months until that happens (last update took around that time).
But just when his games will receive the abandoned tag, he will magically be ready to release a new version of the game and gets his abandoned tag removed. Boom another 6 or something like that months to chill around and prepare another update.

I'm now 100% convinced this is how he works. So Bones is using a system flaw to his favor.

The only way to overcome this, would be to tag abandoned games faster. Two months no update? Abandoned tag. Also keep track how often the games is getting tagged. If it happens 2 times in a row. The game is regarded as dead or a zombie (new tag zombie, so everyone know, this game shows an "alive" status every few months).

Maybe also it should be based on the amount of subscribers. A smaller sub base could mean it's just a hobby. But when you reach an amount of subs that makes a good living or at least 30-40% of a monthly income in a 1st world country, it should be considered as full time job (and then tag it every 2 months).

To make the admins keep track on this, there should be more tags added to the games.

We as a community could help with this and report zombie games. Also the zombie tag should not be easily removed. The developer needs to show that he changed.

We as a community also need some rules. What do we expect? What is realistic?

For me, realistic would be something like that:

In a hobby project, it should be possible to release 1-2 scenes each month. At least 1.
For a fulltime project it should be 3-5 scenes.

I took scenes to measure progress, because that is what the most games do. They release updates in scenes or days.

Rework does not count as a release, if it's not a rework of a full released game. Also adding horse sounds doesn't count as a release, it's just a bonus.

Definitely doesn't work everyday. I think there is maybe 1-2 hours of work at the end of the month at best because he probably procrastinates. It's a shame because the art and scenes are nice. I don't want to criticize him because I always work the bare minimum and collect my full paycheck, but if Bones cared more about his game and he should finish it.

I just enter here to read your comments, I no longer have anything to write, because I no longer care about this game or this developer. But, I find it very interesting what some of you write here, so I'm still coming back here.

I'm using this time to start creating a game, because only then I can criticize the games created by others. I am also learning how to build cars, houses, and other types of buildings. I am also learning how to make movies, TV series, music and many other things, since, in order to criticize something, I need to have created something equivalent to what I am criticizing. :)(y)

Good for you but here people complain that someone who earns more than 5000 dollars a month only works on his game 1 or 2 hours a day at most, here nobody criticizes the game, the game itself is good, it is not a masterpiece of porn but it is a 9/10 this thread is practically to complain about how lazy the developer is and how he handles criticism since in his discord they practically censor you in seconds if you criticize the developer

9 of 10 is maybe too high... 7-8 maybe. But in general you are right. It is about the "work ethics" (or better the lack of it) of the developer and not about the game itself. That is something the Bone-Drones tend to misunderstand

I've criticized the developer a few times, and I've been told that I have to create a game to be able to do that.

It's true, I need to learn how to make shoes too, and T-shirts and other kinds of clothes.
There are so many things I need to learn that I think just one life won't be enough. :ROFLMAO:
