Can you please explain why the picture in the new version (0.30) looks worse than in the old one (0.20)? The characters sprites are now too pixelated.

If you're playing on PC, press F1 and check the "launch in full screen" box. Then restart the game and the image on the screen will be less pixelated
Thank you for your answer. The box is checked but the difference is still noticeable.

Oh, you meant that? I also noticed this in the latest update of the game. As you may have noticed, these are different sprites of Vera's bust. Both of these sprites are also in the new version, but the dev decided to use the one of worse quality in this scene

Well, and an addition: on this screen there are two "old" versions (V.0.20a) - on the left is the running game window, on the right is your screenshot in the browser.
Judging by the flowers on the background of the map (in ovals), the map has not been color corrected, but the image of Vera clearly has a change in at least the color tone and contrast.
And judging by the localization of the game (rectangles), this question (Still not good...) should still be addressed to the localizers from whom you took this version...
That was really smart of you, man, I didn’t even know what that was, so I played with the option enabled… and, well, let’s just say I got an unpleasant surprise.
Though this one was abandoned. So glad to see it's still going on.

So you saw so much, but didn't see the difference in the color of the grass on the map? It's just that his device's color settings are different from yours. Game localization has nothing to do with it, it doesn't affect image files
