Ok, just started this and first class made me laugh. So much mathematical and physics gobbledygook beautifully strung together! Gives a lovely impression of how confused they were by the lesson. The rest of the VN may suck ass, but that scene was hilarious!

I have not decided on an incest path yet.
On the one hand, I know it's something a lot of people would probably want.
On the other hand, I don't really care for incest myself.

Well, I certainly enjoy a good incest game, but don't have a problem with a non-incest game as long as the models for the related characters aren't ridiculously sexy (sometimes even more so than the actual LIs). It all has to do with the perception. If a dev wants to create a game that is non-incest then they should use character models for the related characters that are somewhat recognizable as related and are also either not very attractive or are downright ugly. This should simulate the natural aversion to our close relatives when it comes to sexual interest (even if they are attractive objectively).

Too many times the devs use off-the-shelf models that are designed to be sexually alluring for use in AVNs that have them as LIs. This is misleading and lazy IMO.

At any rate, if you don't care for incest you might not write it well to be a good incest story as a result. In that case you are better served to stick with what you are familiar/passionate about. These AVNs are a lot of work and the competition and saturation are higher than ever so a well done story with a narrow focus is better than a mediocre one with too wide a scope. Just some food for though.

You bring up some good points, I do think I could pull off the writing part (with enough inspiration ), I'm just not sure if it's something I want to spend time on. I actually considered incest originally, it's why the mom is so attractive, I didn't want to rule it out. But I do feel like it's time to make a decision. I will think about it. Also this is your own (and judging from your forum name) totally unbiased observation. You just see what you want to see. I don't see that when I read the title. Vampire story makes much more sense to me.

My personal opinion is always to make the game you want to make.
If you are in it for some money, you could of course argue that fetishes usually bind the targeted audience easier since those audiences tend to be more vocal about/engaged in their specific preference. And what is a turn-on for some, is a turn-off for others. It's never quite so easy.

Regarding the topic of incest in the game, I've given it considerable thought in relation to the story and narrative I'm aiming to create. At this time, incest is not planned to be part of the game. While I am open to exploring various themes in the future, it does not currently align with the direction of the story. I will continue to focus on crafting a compelling narrative that supports the game's overall vision.

I’m excited to share that the writing for Episode 3 is nearly complete! There are still a few tweaks and branching paths to refine, but overall, I’m very happy with how it’s shaping up. I think this episode will be a fun one.

Yes, it would be optional. The plan is to make all lewd scenes optional, especially with content that some people might not like.

The player will decide if the scenes happen. So no scene will happen storywise unless you choose to participate.
