An initial release with 3GB already smells like bad/no compression. There is a beginner's guide on this forum as well I think. The release is quite short, too. Imagine 10 more updates with potentially even more renders and animations :KEK:

I seem to stumble upon more dev's that know coding and not writing, this looks to be the opposite. That is certainly something I would recommend PerssonTM to sort out with compression/archiving sooner rather than later, will save a hassle in the long run as well as people's poor bandwidth.


Second this. Not that I like the face 100% but the effort sure does give a fresh feeling that other VNs don't.

I will admit the lewd scene was quite forcefully pushed into episode 1. It was something that I should have planned better before starting to work.

The story will most definetely lean into the mystery/horror vibe so stay tuned for that.

Finally, no, i've not compressed anything in this project lmao. I generally know coding but I must admit I am not familiar with the general development process regarding image based games. I will definetely check this out.

Edit: I have now checked out some of the guides regarding compression and have now made my own compressed version, and will ofc implement this into my routine. I also removed the action music in the library as it was a bit over the top as Magnus mentioned. It will be included in the next update. Sharing/swinging is something that I personally don't enjoy, so the only time I see me adding this, is if it's LI with LI.

Regarding lesbian content, like I stated above i'm not against it. I'm considering different paths, but if such content is included, it will likely be optional.

Kinda obvious to anyone aware of Patreon's TOS. Their list of shit not allowed is so long now what is allowed is basically the same boring shit over and over with limited freedom (hell Patreon might as well write it for them), just with different models and renders. Rather than tags I now just have to look to see if there's a Patreon link or not to judge if it will be any good.

If I was planning on making money, I wouldn't use HS2 to begin with. I can't make money on eather itch or steam because illusion would sue me into debt if i ever tried.

If they do take down my patreon, nothing is stopping me from simply switching to one of the other less strict sites like subscribestar or unifans. :WeSmart:

Prob should have just went to SS in the first place, far more freedom to take the story where ever you want so far more opportunities to be unique. Only gripe with SS I have is if you have a problem you're SOL, since there is no such thing as customer service with them (no phone number, emails mostly get ignored), aside from taking forever for some new accounts to get out of review limbo until they eventually give up and go to Boosty (equally content-lenient). It's like that site is ran by some lone kid that decided to try something bigger than a lemonade stand. As far as getting sued, with some willing/trusted accomplices it's not too hard to hide assets and do some money laundering as long as it's under $10k a month (plenty enough for most anyway if they don't live in Manhattan or similar). Then no need to care if you are sued, even if you don't even show up for court they will just get a summary judgement they can't collect as there's nothing "official" to garnish or steal (been there, done that) that will just pointlessly collect interest until the end of time.
