Dev said it was something he did on the side, was never supposed to be leaked. He’s working on some other game. I doubt this will go any further, I got the feeling the guy doesn’t have the balls to follow through on something dark like this.

The Dev hasn't been seen since 2019 so, actually he's just gone

Thats i think the point of most of F95zone (imo at least) and i like ones that has a bit of humor in it like The Inn, but yea, things that may be a "Fetish" but something that you can do in a game to release so it prevents people from trying it irl.. but there are some people out there who do it regardless

It depends what you mean with less profitable. I think with darker games you´ll have a more loyal fanbase who would actually pay you money especially if the game is good. But I doubt that he/she wanted it to continue anyway and just wanted to earn some easy bucks without working hard for it.
