It is Emma friend that call her 2 or 3 times before Paris. One just after moving in the other i don't remember precisely when, but i remember that Emma thinks about school at that time (and she was blonde...).

But...

There is something else... out of nowhere is a short scene where Emma is having sex with an unknown guy. I had assumed that must be Dylan

Now this Dylan who has not been introduced other than in phone text, might be that unknown guy... regardless I suspect this Dylan had a huge impact on Emma. Perhaps that bod boy that she can't get out of her system... but from the phone text, whatever the situation or history it was a toxic relationship... perhaps the developer has in mind a Lady Gaga bad romance is the future....?
