I don’t think the developer is seriously concerned about that. His subscribers praise the game and, judging by the activity, they keep coming. Moreover, they’re quite engaged and frequently comment on his posts. And those comments are positive because the game is excellent.

Everything is mostly accurate—you play primarily as the wife, but occasionally as the husband too, and the game does warn you about that. Currently, there are two storylines for the husband, both available from the start.
Nice that the game is doing good and I like that you can play as a hubby. There's nothing better playing as both protagonists when there's a game about couple. I'm hoping for Tyler/Justin threesome.

I read somewhere in the responses that the most content-rich path is the one involving partner swapping, exploring hidden desires, and so on… Any other route essentially means missing out on part of the content. As I understand it, the developer is following a similar approach to Eva Kiss games, where the partner swapping route is considered the most engaging.

I see thanks! I guess there aren't many games about swinging.

please don't turn this masterpiece into a sandbox, simplicity is all we need.
Yeah, I do agree, when I saw the whole energy and other stats and how many more clicking we had to do this update I got disappointed, and the dev said-in the note inside the game- that other things would be implemented. It already got from 5 to 3 stars imo...

I've seen quite a few games with low ratings that still earn really well. The F95 audience, in my opinion, splits into two groups. First, there are people like me who look for interesting projects and sometimes choose to support them. Then there are those mainly looking for free releases. The developer’s goal, I believe, should be to attract the first group. And let’s be honest most of the people criticizing this update wouldn’t have subscribed anyway. If they truly wanted to support the project, they would have done it earlier.

I prefer a well made Sandbox than any other game, cuz if a want to read, i get a book.
Games used to be games... But this one isn't exactly a sandbox, as far as I can tell. There's the house, with all its modules, and the rest of the events seem to work much like before. From what I understand, there will also be events in certain locations, like Nathan’s bar. The developer mentioned it might become a place where you can work. I’ve also seen some spicy renders from the photo studio it seems like working there might be an option too, if I understood the dev’s replies correctly.
And yeah, I remember they were considering letting Dylan into the locked room, but that topic kind of faded. There were hints you’d be able to define his relationship to Emma...
But maybe they backed off due to Patreon’s policy and the risks involved.

Novel, loving your game and love the mystery of this character, Dylan. I hope you allow us to name his relationship in the game. But, it sounds sooooo wicked. Any chance of Emma as she skids down the slippery slope of corruption, falling into the realm of drugs and prostitution, and maybe, this Dylan guy can help her get there. BTW, just love this beautiful redheaded cutie.

Dude, even the lowest effort AI slop will have those who will support them, instead of trying to appeal for this route of thinking 'nobody who complains would pay anyway', just say you like sandbox and be done with it.

I wouldn’t say I like it it’s more that I don’t really care in this particular game, because it’s not a full sandbox, it just has sandbox elements. Same way it didn’t bother me in Steps of Debauchery it didn’t get in the way there either.

And that's alright, same way people like me who doesn't like even these sandbox elements can complain too. I did the same in Steps of Debauchery.

That’s perfectly fine people like me can stand our ground too and not let a project we care about drown in negativity. Isn’t that fair? :)

Yes, totally, what wasn't fair was the way you tried to create a narrative in that first answer you gave me, otherwise I would not even say anything. Well, I don't see why we should keep this back and forth then, since we made our opinions known. Have a good day.
