Sure if you want absolute garbage. I think this game was the perfect length for what it was. I'm not sure how you could even make it longer, the father was already pretty well corrupted by the end which was the entire point of their little game. Dragging it on longer would have been pointless padding. Sure, they could have extended the story beyond the escape rooms further than the current endings go but at that point it's just a generic incest harem fuckfest. Which can be fun but is obviously not the point of this avn.

All that said I really enjoyed this one it was an interesting twist on incest + corruption both in execution and in the target being the man instead of him being the instigator as is usual.

Looking forward to whatever badbod cooks up next.

Props to the dev for having a semi-unique idea though, and for delivering timely updates and finishing it.

As for my reasoning and some constructive criticism: The initial setup was great, but then as I kept playing... yeah, very much not worth it for me. This is not how you write an incest focused story. If you wanted to go the escape room torture blackmail route, then the dev should have stuck with that and made it a story with dark twists, consequences, psychological exploration of traumas or whatever...

But instead of something with interesting character dynamics, what you end up getting is

But to end it with him thanking all the deceivers and liars for putting him through all that shit because he loved the sex he was forced to have. I guess it makes sense that a dev that doesn't give you a choice about how you feel about the manipulation would make the MC totally fine with the manipulation.

When you replay the endings from the bonus gallery, it randomly chooses who's pregnant each time (only applies to the girls if you didn't 'pull out' during the full playthrough)

Meh atleast it was unapologetic in its engagement of the taboo. I would've preferred a slower burn as well, but for fans of the genre it should tick most boxes. Agreed in that the hook was much stronger than the payoff in the end, but the idea itself was novel and probably contributed to it.

I love your game, but Badbod's game also has its place. They're two different genres, and both are good in their own way. Personally, I prefer games that aren't so dark. There are plenty of those. A game where a mother/wife encourages her daughters or husband to commit incest, on the other hand, isn't that common.

Yes, I loved that in particular about this story here. But it just felt too forced at one point. I feel like that encouraging setup would work great in a way smaller family where you can focus more on the individual characters and their motivations, be it in a slice of life context or maybe in a rich royal family where all their needs (except sexual) are mostly covered, or something like that... And then this escape room concept would be better for another game that leans heavily into dark topics and blackmail.

There is so much incest in this game. I have never seen so much incest in a single game, which is impressive given I've been on this site for like 8 years. By the time the game was getting near the end, I was wishing there was a family tree diagram somewhere in the UI just to keep track of who was related to who and how.

Not that I'm complaining. Just saying. That 'incest' tag up there should be duplicated 3 or 4 times. This is definitely a 100% pure incest fetish game. If I'm being honest, they probably should have drawn a line somewhere a little lower on that family tree to keep the game tighter and more focused because it was legitimately getting confusing in the last 1/4th of the game. Once the grandparents started getting dragged into the story, keeping up was getting a little exhausting.

I also wish more games had models as good as the ones in this game. Those are some seriously good-looking girls. Probably in the top 3% as far as WEGs are concerned. That's just my opinion, though. And not enough games broach the father/daughter fetish theme, so it's nice to see one with such high-quality models. I'm sort of surprised that theme isn't more common in these games. That father/daughter fetish being the primary focus of this game was a treat.

Whenever a choice is made, a call UpdateScore(0) or call UpdateScore(1) is done which runs this bit of code:

Just to expand on this a bit, since it's not immediately obvious due to how the game calls 'UpdateScore' instead of modifying variables directly ... there's 3 primary variables.
GD = good, moral decisions
BD = bad, immoral decisions
status =your alignment. -5 is bad, +5 is good.

There are no specific variables for your relationships with the different girls. It is strictly about your character. "Status" is calculated using the ratio of "GD" (good decisions) to "BD" (bad decisions) and that is what decides your alignment. Your alignment is what causes the girls to react differently and change the ending.

You can manually modify "status" to force it into good or bad territory by changing it from -5 to/from +5, though it will shift back once the next modification to "GD" or "BD" is made, since it is calculated (in 'UpdateScore') from those variables every time they're updated. You'll want tweak those instead of 'status' if you're in the middle of the game.

Probably. I haven't actually tried it, and there's another variable (dec) which is the total number of decisions made that is also used in that calculation, so it might behave unpredictably if GD+BD != DEC. Someone will have to try it and report back. I don't have it installed anymore. There's also "I" which is the threshold for determining the dominant behavior (75% of "dec"). But that's getting in the weeds a bit. Changing GD and BD but keeping the sum of them as DEC is probably enough.

I know some were disappointed with the lack of darkness/realism in this, and I get it.
Because this is just my first step into developing a VN, I wanted to make it more light-hearted for two reasons:
It would be easier to write, and it would make the whole project smaller.
It's just a simple, silly, fun short story with a beginning and end that would be easy to manage.
There are hundreds of examples on this site of first-time devs attempting to create something they couldn't handle and abandoning their projects, and I didn't want to be the latest.

I wanted this to be a small project so that I could learn the process and problem-solve my way through it.
In truth, I never expected many people to be interested in playing it.
Maybe one day I'll revisit this and remake/re-imagine it.

The concept has a lot of potential, really.
Make sure to make a SubscribeStar page or some other support platform so people can reward the consistency and hard work (but please don't fall into the incest patch trap garbage with Patreon, just ignore that puritan site)

I'm honestly glad you decided not to go with some heavy horror/torture elements. There are plenty of those stories around but this was unique. I actually avoided this game at first because the usual "trapped in a puzzle room" story is horror/gore/torture and I'm not into that stuff. Wasn't until I read I think it was a review of the game mentioning that it wasn't what I thought that intrigued me enough to give it a try. Glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed it.
