interesting but I dont think its a good idea to split up the game into 3 classes, just seems like alotof wasted content tbh

and glad u made the puzzles optional

and nothing against a little pegging :D
Nothing is wasted but always added.
You can always meet everyone not matter the year you chose.
But everyone from different classes have a different first encounter.

and that's absolutely perfect for me since playing the submissive role usually kills my boner (i can endure it to a certain point but, past that, nah man)
Same here and im really thinking of giving Blair a chance before the devs add Fem Blair

I'd like to put into words, on the chance no has yet, why so many people are hostile towards minigames. I've been avoiding this game and am only trying it now because the minigame was made optional, but I've noticed the outright rejection of it and haven't yet seen anyone explain the why of it. I noticed you mentioned Huniepop as an inspiration. I can't really speak on the game myself as I've never touched it and don't know how it plays, but this might be an issue you are having. A difference in genre means a difference in audience, and thus a difference in tastes. It seems likely that you and I would enjoy very different games for different reasons, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. Though I have spent a lot of time contemplating various game designs and the reasons behind them while working on one of my own, so I hope something in this overly-long monologue will prove useful to you.

A major issue is implementation. One could compare it to reading a book, especially with most Ren'Py games, and having to solve a Rubik's Cube between each chapter. The difficulty is hardly the problem. Sure, if it is a particularly complicated and difficult iteration, that would add to the frustration, but even if they could solve it in seconds most would still be annoyed by the distracting time-waster that interrupted the story and has nothing to do with anything in the game's world. This can be particularly troubling for certain Genres or story-based works that rely on getting the player immersed in the game's world and characters.

This isn't to say that you should never include minigames ever. I'd suggest looking towards games that use minigames in ways that are incorporated into the game-world as inspiration. The Witcher series is a good example of this, with their dice gambling and Gwent. ID Software also tends to have older iterations of their works hidden in their later releases. They are, for all intents and purposes, minigames, and they even have their own side-quests and rewards dedicated to them as well as being an in-world game allowing for the minigame to fit into the game's setting and story without breaking immersion. They are not the focus of the game however, nor are they required to complete it.

If a minigame is mandatory, it really isn't a minigame at that point. It is the game, and how enjoyable the 'mini'-game is will reflect on every other aspect of the game. It would be like having an RPG with a card-game for a combat system. If the card-game is enjoyable with enough flexibility to keep it from feeling stale, it could be good. If the card-game is frustrating with obtuse rules or is just too simple and repetitive, it will sour the whole game. These nuances help determine the difference between a fun little time-waster and a frustrating or annoying one.

That was a fucking good read.
I've tackled a lot of problems when trying to think of adding something that could have and would be impacted the more you worked on the character, being it intelligence etc.
Nothing really came to mind, but I felt like a sliding puzzle wouldn't be that bad after all.

Most of the criticism was valid nonetheless, mini-games aren't really that compatible with H-Games.
That's why I am still going to build the core game around it.(While allowing other people to play without it.)

I hate though that people just say its filler, I just aimed at having a bit of challenge before some scenes.
Because I felt people would enjoy being rewarded for doing well at a puzzle.
But then that's just me and my opinion and my beliefs in the end.
Thats why, again, there is an option to turn them off.

For those that can't solve the puzzles, well...you do know there's a trick right? identify the top three (Or bottom, right or left)

OAO
OXB
OCO

Then organize those pieces to be in the opposite order (or correct order) next to each other.

OOO
XAB
OOC

Before getting them into place by just looping around and around.
OOO
XOO
CBA

CXO
BOO
AOO

Now you don't need to touch or worry about those pieces and the rest of the puzzle will be a piece of cake.
ABC
XOO
OOO

Also, is Blair really...?
Still not enough time to finish the puzzle, slider puzzle is not that good with time limit unless your memorize the pattern ant mijority of people are not that.

The trap is all fine and dandy, but why every time the characters kissing, they be like fishes competing for air? wiggle wiggle yeah.

Man i was here delighted that there is a trap on a game i said fuck yeah! And then i read the thread and i said fuck me, dev decides to leave the trap for the end only because of a little pressure lmao, im gonna be back when more trap content is added hehe
Blair will have two routes.
Male & Female.

I'll leave Blair for last because of this reason.
We're going to take male & female Blair and take it to the part where it has H Content.(Both of them ofc)
I've had a lot of people ask me if Blair was every going to have a female counter part yes, and a different story too.
(Same personality tho!)
This was my reaction when i read this
20200401_102949.jpg
And im guessing the dev is gonna add more content on the female counterpart
Edit: you had a lot of options to pick and still decide to ruin the trap lmao

Not gonna lie I saw "v1.1" on the thread page and was gonna ignore it thinking it would just be bugfixes and maybe a removal of the puzzle minigames most people hated but I'm glad I checked the changelog

Yeah I don't think minigames are a problem and most of them are fine and some even enjoyable, after all if people just wanted to watch porn there are better ways to do it. They're mostly here because they want a good story with it or like to work for it. Slider puzzles however, are just an absolute nightmare for most, myself included. First update didn't bug me one bit as 3x3 sliders are easy enough and can be completed with relative ease once they start getting bigger though I'd probably lose my mind.
