I disagree. Just because you slap a random ending that doesn't make any sense on your game doesn't mean it's "finished" in my book. That being said this game isn't done by Malleck alone but by Natali as well, so maybe that helps. Now if you tell me Natali was part of creating Road Trip as well, I'll lose the little hope I have left for this game.

Read the long post, no worry there, albeit yes, a more "open" writing (not sure how to say this in english, non congestioned ?) would help, especially when going with details.
While interesting, the main variable is missing (where are they living), since it change every thing (here, in France, broadband (1k dl, 300k ul) + mobile (40gb data, unlimited national + EU + some others (Arab country mostly, not a surprise) = 57 euros, about 60 USD ?
As to cost otherwise, it is indeed wildly dependant over where one is.
Going from 200 as to a country side apartment (+150 water + electricity), to more than fourth that in Paris and most others big city (even if they are some options as to lesser costs there, it has always demerit (data access, sound, neighborhoods etc).
As to cost, now (changed some weeks ago) one can install solar or wind energy related devices then use it as to power local (personal) equipment, which can make quite a distinction (there some options about water to, albeit it also induce quite some money related (upfront investment) (used water processing for example). Which was not possible before (it has to be sold toward the national company, at a special rate).
They are a lot of options, but as said when starting, it all depend as to where one live + what is (or not) know + understood.

I've heard of that one, but can't seem to find it anywhere... Even ran a search here for "camp" and under "Malleck" and found nothing. anyone have links to the latest version + walkthrough, by any chance?

Found the fix for that one... just quit and start a new game, the bug disappeared. I had the same issue.
Also, if anyone is interested, I ripped the cg from the v0.2 and zipped em up...

0.2.3 :'(. So it seems it's a small update. After like 8 months, he didn't even released a proper update. It's for every patron so a 1$ support would make it, but I'm not sure I want to support this guy again.
I discovered this wave of indie adult games this year (I was late to the party) and his Road Trip was the first game I played. I loved it and that was the reason I stick around and discovered a lot of masterpieces (and this forum itself!). I became a supporter and even defended his decision of ending Road Trip abruptly to make a "better game".
But how many bad choices has he made ever since. He has bleed supporters left and right for good reason. He's a living cautionary tale for developers:
1) If you are a single developer, stick to JUST ONE game.
2) Don't make fucking polls. Do the game YOU WANT, the game YOU would ultimately love to play. There is clearly no heart in that Sea Holiday borefest.
3) Stick to your element. Listening to feedback is great, but if they tell you the game has no script and you can't write, you hire a writer. Or assume your games would have no script and lay on your stronger points. Sea Holiday still has zero story build, but then he tries to "write". So we have the dumb but fun vibe of Road Trip that, at the very least, was a succession of events, replaced by dumb cringey text talking about couples conflicts... or something.
I still think the guy has a good game in him. I liked Road Trip game mechanics a
lot. The branching, how small decisions like clothing lead to different events, and how the game suggest that you took a bad decision -not the obvious corruption-pure branching of most games-, how encourage replay, it's something I had a lot of fun with, and even got a little addicted. Breaking the Limits was clearly following that path, only more raw. I really hope he stick to this one.

well that's exactly what happened to me a year ago ... I used to be a fan of lesson of passion and sex&glory games for about three years and I thought they are the only adult game makers that make good games then I got bored of them after LWT 2 ... they just stopped making good games so I searched for other games and discovered the patreon games ... Road Trip was my first rpg game and I liked it then I moved to other games like Sarah's life & lida's adventures and other games like this ...
anyway , I know now that Malleck always gets bored from his own game after a while he stops or rush the ending ( road trip-> there was a lot of great ideas for more things to happened) and he just start making another game ( camp game and golden age and braking the limits ) also sea holiday I tried to like it but it is just not a good game .. I would rather play road trip chapter 3 than playing any of his other bad stuff

Hello everybody. Version 0.3 of Breaking the limits is almost ready.
early access - 17/18 November. It is planned to be released 18. However, if I finish earlier I will release it as soon as it is ready.
ordinary release - 24th.
Most positive feedback I received - were feedback from Road Trip. Especially from part 1. Breaking the limits is developed in this fashion, as It was in Road Trip. How good or bad it is it will be up to you to judge.
There are more than 80 new pictures. And you will spend more time with Daja this time than with Abbigael. I've added also a quest log. So it shouldn't be any problems to progress.
Sea Holiday is not in its best state. It requires some serious changes. I will do breaking the limits for now and will take a break from Sea Holiday for a while. Then I will make a decision what to do with it.
