He hasn't updated anything on his patreon since February 24th; are the games going to be abandoned? Does anyone know?

Just checked and last update is still Feb 24th. For some reason Malleck seems to start games that have real potential and then leaves them on the cutting room floor. At one time he was closing in on his monetary goal and had met his first goal but is now is not even meeting that first goal. I think he should have continued with "Road Trip" instead of trying to do a sequel with "Sea Holiday". There was still more he could have done with "Road Trip" that could have lead smoothly into "Sea Holiday" without it being a different game.
It seems like it :[ this game has a lot of potential but hopefully we can hear from him soon :C

At this point he is never going to regain confidence from patreons and he knows it. Between making 400$ doing updates or making 300$ doing absolutely nothing from unaware leftover patreons (like that dirtbag Impure), I believe he is going to choose the latter.
That's sad. I had an undererved soft spot for him and, despite the last updates of this game being half-hearted, I also thought it had a lot of potential.

I agree and disagree about regaining confidence with patrons. He could get it back by doing regular updates but it wouldn't be very quickly. Trust is one of those things that takes 2-3 times as long to gain back once you've lost it so it will be a tough grind for him but he could do it. Glad I'm not in his shoes right now.
I was disappointed in the last update because it seemed like he was trying to clean up loose ends and finish some paths that should have been left unfinished and given us a cliff hanger. There was an attempt at a cliff hanger but it ended up going over the edge and dying on the rocks below.

Definitely same here. It was first and was amazing for me. Also liked Breaking the limits too but shame abandoned.

Just wait to File-list area at the right finish to job,

Unfortunate, his games were one of my favorite back in the day when Sarah's Life was also very popular.
