Version 0.5 of Breaking Ties—a major update with lots of new content and significant changes to the game’s structure and storytelling.


Here’s what’s new:

• 450 new renders ( around 100 old ones removed)
• 6 new Daz Studio animations
• 4 new AI animations
• Early chapters reworked for better pacing, visuals, and consistency
• Jack and Layla’s route continues, reaching a major turning point in their relationship
• Richard’s remote town storyline continues, featuring a spicy strip poker scene with Sandy and Chloe
• The game has officially shifted from a kinetic novel to a visual novel—you now have many choices that matter and significantly shape the direction of the story
• After leaving the town, Richard’s content becomes optional, giving players even more control over the narrative focus

Finished playing the current version, and really liked it so far. Now, personally, in NTR games/mangas/etc., i'm not a fan of the wife/gf getting together with multiple guys. However, I know that a lot of other people like the wife/gf to bang multiple guys.

Which is why, I really hope that in the future updates, we'll actually get to choose whether Layla only has an affair with Jack, or also have an affair with Zack and Tom.

Yeah, in these type of games, one with a FMC cheating on the MC, I like to rename the guy she cheats with to me. IRL, I do not agree with cheating but playing a game, I do stick to my guns about not being the victim. If she is hitting everything, then she is also cheating on my cheater, heh.

Just started playing the game and ran across some name errors. No matter what you name the MC, during the Jack flashback scenes, it keeps calling him Richard, over and over. Seems like anytime the FMC is alone with "Jack", they both refer to him as Richard. Like the scene where the MC left on a Sunday to go check something at work and the FMC and "Jack" are checking out a photo, on the couch.



Edit: SecretStudios Another thing that is a little jarring. Instead of using "Me" as the name tag for the MC, make it be whatever the player chose for the MC. I fixed it in my game by editing the script.rpy file but not everyone will feel comfortable doing that. I also manually changed Jack to my name, as I don't want to play as the one getting cheated on. It will be different for other players but either way, the "Me" nametag just feels off.
