So many times is the name for the MC using a default name and not the chosen one. Then I got to the MC's dream sequence, the first night at the remote jobsite and in his dream, he calls his brother, his best friend instead. This game needs some serious proofreading done to it. It has a lot of promise but all the coding errors plus there are some events that contradict each other.

I found a lot of bugs when playing it.
I don't know what was intended to be done. (improve or worsen). The game from the beginning seemed to be in its great splendor. I don't understand the reason for the changes! Please, someone explain to me..

So, I was planning to drop this game before because I don't like Jack and he was forced on the player, but then I saw the new changelog, specifically this line: "The game has officially shifted from a kinetic novel to a visual novel—you now have many choices that matter and significantly shape the direction of the story."

This made me think I could finally avoid Jack, only to find out that you still can't... If you pick the choices to reject him it just leads to a game over saying the "Layla lust stat is too low to continue the story," I would like to be able to raise her lust stat, but with almost anyone else besides Jack (Zack, the son of Layla's friend that seems to have been written out of the story, etc).

So far I'm not seeing the "many choices that matter and significantly shape the direction of the story," it seems like this is still just a kinetic novel with the illusion of choice...

Also not a fan of the new backstory with Layla and Jack having an affair in the past, kinda takes away the excitement of cheating when she already did it in the past imo.

I agree with you, I also think that the fact that they had a relationship in the past loses all the immersion of cheating, precisely because cheating for her is nothing big because she had a relationship with Jack in the past. I think Dev could fix this while he is at the beginning of the story, because I find the feeling of an unsatisfied milf who has never had a relationship with another man besides her husband experiencing this new experience for the first time in her life much more interesting and exciting.

And do you really think that a woman who is unsatisfied with her current husband would care about her vows knowing that she has already had an affair with a guy who can quench her lust? If the story goes down this path it will start to look like one of those hentai stories, however the story will be nonsensical and unnatural.

Hey! I do my best to create quality content but I hope you understand that it is difficult to please everyone.

Aside from a few bug fixes and a revision to one of the flashback sequences (I wasn’t happy with how the animation turned out in one of them so I may completely discard that one), the story in the past chapters won’t be changed anymore.

How I managed to use the old save and continue where I left off explains this a little, although I liked it more when they didn't have a past together because the emotion was greater, I really liked the game, I even thought about subscribing to the patreon before this update but since I didn't like how the story was unfolding I think I'll drop the game, good luck!

As the Dev says above, the scene you mentioned is no longer in the game.

Layla accepted it, because she didn't really have any choice, beyond admitting that her and Jack had had a fling, when she was dating Richard. It wasn't like she was going to do that, to explain her misgivings for him staying with them. I think it's perfectly reasonable in the circumstances, that she just went along with Richard's insistence, that Jack should stay with them.

If marriage was only about satisfying lust, I would agree with you. But obviously Layla never married Richard because he was spectacularly good in the bedroom. He clearly offered her things, that Jack was unable to, and combined with a somewhat less satisfying sexlife, was still superior. Because otherwise she would have dumped Richard and married Jack instead.
