Sorry to say this, but 2D games will be a thing of the past in a few years, 3d with animation will gain more popularity, And the likes of NTR/Blackmail and corruption(heavy blackmail/heavy corruption) that force a character into sexual activities will slowly die out of popularity, more and more people are starting to look for AVN's with better animations/renders with an actual story that draws you in and gives you endless choices/pahs rather than just a porn novel. Characters with their own personality are starting to gain traction in AVN's. Just look at kinetic novels, not many people go crazy for those anymore.
But unfortunately, there will always be so many that start a novel only to abandon it after a short time.

You can not replace sex say whatever you want ,but that's what it sells not mainly the story ,there are so many Avn almost zero story and still have like 1k paid members ....at least
I did not say replacing sex, The the way the sex is done is slowly changing, just like 99% of AVN's at the moment are male MC's, but the FMC character is gaining traction, just like lesbian only orientated novels are gaining more interest, this trend will only keep growing, Obviously there will always be the slut routes with the heavy blackmail and corruption, and of course NTR will always be there, but as with all things they change over time, just look at how AVN's have changed since there birth, the actual concept of an AVN was not about sex on it's own, it was about telling a story, but time changed the concept of AVN's and more sex was added then came the kinks and fetishes along with the heavy blackmail and corruption pushing mainly female characters down into NTR and being sexually exploited or turned into sluts, as we move forward more impressive 3D AVN's will become more popular and the way they are told will change and less degrading of the female characters will grow in popularity, How many AVN's from 15-20 years ago do you still play regulary?? have you never noticed a change in AVN's in the last several years?? They are changing, and they are changing for the better to attract more users/players/subscribers, better characters and better stories.

The way the povs and story are setup shows it didn't quite know which audience it was going for -whether the actual NTR (netorare) fans or those who just want to observe a cheating/corrupted wife in action regardless of perspective- nor how to please either audience.
Game starts off from the husband's pov (presumed NTR MC's) and for the longest time you are shown the daily life of this couple. You see how he consistently neglects her sexually, romantically etc because he's always exhausted when he gets home from work. A job that nevertheless still doesn't pay enough for them to be able to afford kids adding to the housewife's frustration and boredom. A decent setup for a NTR story.
This sequence goes on for a fairly long time. Almost 10x longer than needed for what little plot and character development is achieved. And as the MC you never get to make any choices, no agency whatsoever. So you assume it's just going to be a "kinetic"/non-interactive novel.
Enter the presumed NTR antagonist. MC's own brother comes to live with them. Now you switch to the wife's POV and as the wife for the first time you are given some agency, actual dialog choices to make - to either encourage or discourage the antagonist from flirting with her. So it looks like it's mainly going to be a female protag-centered cheating wife game where you make her cheating decisions for her. So for the true NTR crowd the potential for a NTR kick goes out the window then and there. What remains is the potential to observe it for the appeal of a wife cheating around on her husband, the erotic aspect of corruption, seeing a woman do something taboo, being corrupted into doing something whorier/sluttier than what's assumed of her.
Yet after a couple of dialog options where the wife can encourage or discourage the antagonist's flirting you are treated to a flashback sequence that shows that the antagonist already fucked her behind her now-husband's back when the couple was dating. So the corruption and taboo fuck already happened from the getgo, whatever choices you now make as the fem protag can at most lead to bis/repeat performances. There's practically no"I can't believe she did that!" kick to be had from whichever way the story unfolds following that. So I lost all interest from there on.
