If you're calling game elements mechanics that waste time maybe the video section is more your speed.

Let's be honest, just because its a game mechanic doesn't mean its not a waste of time. That's literally the reason why Pay-to-win and pay-to-progress are even things, because there are game mechanics that exist solely for the purpose of wasting your time.

There are some REALLY good RPGM games out there, but they are rare and can't reasonably be expected from a relatively new dev using the engine for the first time. Could it happen? Sure, and I hope so, but its far more likely that it'll just be the same thing we've played in other games so the concerns are valid.

The ideal adult game has both good gameplay and good content/scenes that reward it.

What I'm at is every game is a way to waste time, imagine instead of clicking New Game you also demand the option to click Show Final Cutscene. What's the point? All game waste your time, is part of the process.

hey dev, just finished the update, and man that was hot asf, yennefer body became lewder(imo can be bigger, but i'm a psycho for huge tits and thick bodies), her pregnant tits(whole body also) were fenomenal, the scenes also were a lot lewder with a bunch of tongue licking and sucking, just amazing

can't seem to find the sweet-spot if there is a 4th ending, i either get the Sorceress Ending or with just one change anywhere into the Tribe or Slut endings

Edit: used saved games from 1-2 pages earlier so i've at least seen it, can't wait for the sequel,depending on what's gonna go on with it i don't mind RPGM or Renpy but i always rather have Renpy

this got me, i used the ring one time at the start of the game, and get locked in the slut ending, it should be like if used more than 2 times at least

I'm currently working on a sequel, bit still torn between choosing renpy or rpgmaker.

I wouldn't mind either Renpy or RPGM tbh. I like lots of games with both engines. And if you just wanna get to the scenes faster, there normally is a "Recollection Room" with an unlock button, so the ones that just wanna fap get there easily.

That said, I do think it would look kinda weird; I can't remember the last time I've seen a sequel being done in another engine...

It's just feels right for me to make the sequel in rpgmaker, since I want to give the mc the freedom to roam around and choose what to do, and advance his relationship with his companions onto different stages. I don't know how to do or how this would work in renpy, so I believe it's better if I use rpgmaker.

Liked the game and am looking forward to a sequel but I'd advise against RPG Maker they always become such grind fests and it's hard to jack off one handed lol.

I'd rather stay off combat and make it a roaming and looking for things only if I'm to use rpgmaker to make the game. So it won't be a grind fest.

almost all RPGM games have mechanics that waste time. This is the reason i dont like the engine. But even Renpy can have sandbox stuff that is only there to waste time or grind some usless stat that is needed to get a scene. In my oppinion the choise of engine isnt that important but for pure vns without any time waste mechanics Renpy is the best. If this game gets another part i hope it doesnt join the countless games that make you search the content in them.

That's sad to hear, I really want the next part to be some sort of go look for items and do non-combat stuff to progress.
