uh, I don't know what to tell you. it's exactly what I did and it worked fine. wait.... YOU HAVE INBRED KIDS THAT JUST GOT GENERATED.
inbred kids currently hard crash if they are the same species as the mother, that's likely what's happening.
and I only say this as currently I successfully inbred one succubus that resulted in an Incubus where as the next attempt in my experiment crashed if it resulted in another succubus.
From what I understand he claims to have thought he "needed" to have M/M content and such for his game to get traction, and rescinded the plans to add it as soon as he realized he was mistaken.
He doesn't want to work on that content, and while that much is understandable... I find it bullshit that he'd retract plans to implement, ignore repeated requests to implement it, and from what I gather make no attempt whatsoever to allow someone else to do so.
I'm sure he could figure out a way to add M/M content and more males in general without having to do it himself, even if it was just... allowing modding.
in general, I would welcome modifications to the addition of different characters or even an improvement of the gameplay or an overall modification of the layouts sometimes

just save her look as a variant with Leynanna, or perhaps it's with Camilla, not sure witch one, either way, once you saved her look as a variant, when you restart a new game, load your saved variant and you'll be able to have her look again.
And in case I made a mistake with Leynanna or Camilla, your other option would be with the creator code that open the variant menu

Does anyone know if that will be patched anytime soon? for me it was one of the key features of this game.
Haven't played this in a while, and while the new UI is fine in the style sense, as an actual UI its terrible at giving info that was in the old versions. No way to see player stats anymore unless you're in the breeding pen. Can't see how much favor you'll get for an ascension or how much favor you currently have at paws spots without going into your inventory. No option to have currency in the HUD. Can't see world levels at all or how much a released creature will be worth.
As for new game mechanics, the new hard limit on sex sessions is an awful change for the PC breeder who has been incredibly hard nerfed to what appears to be a max of 2(Why do I have a smaller max than creatures with less than even half my stats?). The old mechanic of losing lust based on stats of both partners was far better. I'm fine with the stats being condensed so long as the old functions they had are covered.
The game already was at the border on respecting the players time, but with the direction each change takes it I'm expecting the next update to make you lose lust upon successful wild sex as well forcing you to rest every 2 encounters. What's even the point of leveling up anymore if everything else is better than your MC?

additional notes on inbreeding.
there is now a 1 generation skip.
basically Male + Mother = incest
however Male + Mother's Mother = not incest
but I'll be testing a bit more to be 100% sure.

This may happen for a few reasons:
1. You haven't learned the appropriate sex position yet.
2. You clicked the "Quick" button instead of "Start".
3. The currently chosen position is not available for the currently mating couple at all (due to the size difference).
I cannot imagine how much time this game would suck away from my life without cheat engine to enable a speed hack. good lord. Early xp grind feels like being massaged with sandpaper.
The dev asks u to not use cheat for this update because that "sandpaper fapping" IS the intended experience
if you want to waste hours per species. I won't stop you. If the changes are meant to illicit feedback, mission accomplished. If you want to get on my case for being able to guess really quickly how long things will take, then using 3x to see how long it'll actually take, sue me.
Hopefully he's genuinely farming for feedbacks, because my previous impression about this dev was basically "how to make porn games b-but d-d-dark souls!" and then go on to slap the 2 conflicting concept together like adding a sniper scope on a kitchen knife
