It's one of the better breeding games out there, and as you can see, it's still alive. Staying alive is quite a problem in this genre, as feature creep combined with scalability issues tends to discourage the developers.

easily the "best" part about this game is that choosing a male character puts you at an active disadvantage, due to not being able to catch wild males.

They are valid observations though, arguably it's what killed breeding season in the end (dev personality issues aside). Even though this game is kept on minimum life sustain developement to milk money, it is still one of the best breeder types available. Which is a god damn crime, considering any semblence of a competent small dev team who actually want to make a good game could do all that BOTNH is within a year. Imagine what kind of game we would have after all this time, maybe even more than one.

Allow me to rephrase: the whole genre is cursed, and this game is as good at it gets.

As I read somewhere, playing futa is easy difficulty, male is moderate difficulty, and female the hard difficulty.
Note that you can catch wild males, but only if you have the right milk to bribe them.

Apparently, this is development branch, while on Steam there is only public branch. With the latest update being 0.761.

Imho I will always prefer PoP over this, even though it doesn't give much in terms of different phenotypes and other things. At least Syvaron's title has actual gameplay and allows player to use their bred chars for something other than just roaming around and being sold

FEATURE CREEP? I'm doubting if you even know what that term refers to. This shit has about half the gameplay elements of Breeding Season. What the fuck do you MEAN feature creep? Yeah sure if minimum life sustain means he MILKS THE FURRY FUCKS. Guys please refrain from making yourself sound stupid. We are talking about 2 years of dev time. You can't simply joke about this with a straight face man...
